the clacking isnt the bump stops its actually the shims on the piston inside the shock body folding back and forth thats what makes that clacking sound there so small but u hear it travel through the entire car its crazy cuz the sound travels through all the metal

If you listen to the truck robby gordan runs in the 2011 baja, It sounds sick, like its a hopped up inline 6, or a v6, dosent sound like this, like a v8. Does anyone know hwat engine he ran in 2011??

@cobra96svt570 If your talking about his orange H3 then it's a v8. It's the team Gordon's Childress racing engine, 1 of 3 made. its a 460 cu. in. cast iron small block chevy with aluminum heads. That and many engines in these trophy trucks are very similar with nascar series engines. Both have up to or over 800 hp and both run at over 5 to 6000 rpm normally.

thats the bi-pass tubes as the shock piston moves up and down past the bi-pass tubes it makes what sounds like a clanking noise but its perfectly normal

@santakart the banging is the bump stops. google "fox 2.5" air bump" to see what one is. its an extra shock for full compression of the suspension. you only hear them when you fully cycle the suspension which in robbys case is 22" of front travel and 30-36" of travel in the rear.
