In the anime he's actually fighting justice. Justice takes his blood to restore himself it's obvious it's the real justice or else you wouldn't see him alive at the end of reserection. The game differs Afro can't exact revenge because justice already died. Thus he realeases the headbands. Ninja ninja even said at the end that the game is a what if story

IF you think about it afro samurai the anime and the game are extremely sad if you look closely. At the end of anime hes alone as number 1 and fights till the end of his days, and in the game, like where the fuck does he go after he tosses the head bands, whats left of his life, he lost him self going for vengeance and did the right thing in the end, but hes got no one left. Justice was dead all along and Afro was fighting him in his head. Justice doesn't suddenly have demon powers. Afro was having a metaphorical battle with himself. The same thing happened in the series, only it wasn't so obvious there.

And also, to those that might disagree with this, is it so far fetched to believe Afro would be having a battle in his head? The man has a jive-talking, imaginary friend for companionship. He's friggin' crazy.

The yake them differect, game and film (series) is that they are two differect medium. Why play a game EXACTLy like a series or movie when you can just sit back and watch it. This way your experiencing something different for your troubles. You also have more time in games to flesh out story elements or experience alternate plotlines, things you just dont have time for in the series.

The Game is Alright not exactly loyal to the Anime or in truth fans but still alright the Justice Fight would've been better if it had been Afro fighting the real Justice not his Guilty Conscience in the form of Justice.

The Game is still Good though but the PS3 version needs some changes like maybe some Trophies like for completing every Body part poker or performing certain moves and making them Fatal completing game chapters stuff like that but still recommend getting it.

I agree. They should develop an Afro Samurai game with close to the same art style as the series. I have no doubt it is not easy creating a game that resembles an art style so loose and fluid, but not much is easy in life. Honestly, I'd be head over heels for an Afro Samurai fighting game that plays similar to Guilty Gear. They could use hand drawn characters and it would be kick ass.

I thought this ending was weird. The game was good in following the anime (for the most part) until the ending. Why did they change it so Afro got rid of both headbands?

Also, in the anime, Jino becomes the number 2 and challenges Afro a few years later. Why didn't they include that as like a bonus stage or something?

Elfen lied is the greatest anime and manga ever made, so dramatic, and makes you wanna cry, there isnt room for alot of laughter as most of it is serious.
