im more concerned in GTA 4 in my PC I play with all maximum settings especially on the texture its high. I get around 9fps in large draw distance on my radeon 4870x2!! wtf?! even though i patched it to 1.2 still laggy i then patched it to 1.3 the performance is quite improved but i had another shaky camera. help!

I tested a pair of 4890s in crossfire on P6T Deluxe with a 3.2GHz i7 and 6GB of GSkill @ 1866MHz we saw a minimum of 22 FPS on Very High at 1080p bfor comparison the minimum for a GTX295 was around 17 on the same test..

Hm... No? The 4890 is like 10% faster than the 4870 and the 4870X2 doesn't even come close to the performance that the GTX 295 has, but nvidia is always to pricey

what are you kidding me? 4870X2 is not close to GTX 295? have you seen a 4870X2 (Catalyst 9.3) paired with an Intel Core i7 965? GTX 295 cant beat 4870X2 at 2560x1600 in all DX10 games. GTX 295 doesnt overkill 4870X2 that much.
