The interviewers are not idiots. They are mis-educated. They have certain preconceived notions and Dr. Paul is dismantling them one by one. This is actually the best interview, by far, that I have seen done with him and I have watched hundreds of them. They gave him ample time to explain and explore trains of thought. I've been watching videos of all the candidates, Romney and Santorum don't come anywhere close to Ron Paul in terms of depth and understanding. Ron Paul shows how great of a man he is by engaging and truthfully discussing his positions. Calling them liberals is a bit of a stretch: they sound like unintelligible political reporters. I'm a liberal myself (probably much less so, now that I'm listening to him speak so eloquently and logically) but their questions are inane and smack of neoconservative talk (war, war war, defense, defense, defense). We spend far far far too much on defense: it needs to be very heavily reduced. I'm tired of the fear-mongering: we haven't been seriously attacked on our soil in centuries.
Hmm, the more I hear him talk, the more I like what he says, on a fundamental level. He has a fundamental attitude toward how government should operate: this is very different from any of the other politicians currently vying for the presidency (including the president himself, who was an idealist and now has become a cynic). Also he was saying that with DNA evidence showing that many murderers were wrongly convicted that it is not a good thing to put people to death when there is a chance that they might be innocent. Also he was not willing to take that right away from the states which of course would be unconstitutional.

I was a registered democrat, until I heard this man speak. I spent a day watching his videos on YouTube and couldn't believe my eyes and ears. This man speaks truth to power, I got on board. I joined a meet-up group and sent out his videos to everyone I knew... Then the people chose Obama. Never thinking I'd ever have an opportunity to vote for Dr. Paul again, but I do now and so do you!

Calling them liberals is a bit of a stretch: they sound like unintelligible political reporters. I'm a liberal myself (probably much less so, now that I'm listening to him speak so eloquently and logically) but their questions are inane and smack of neoconservative talk (war, war war, defense, defense, defense). We spend far far far too much on defense: it needs to be very heavily reduced. I'm tired of the fear-mongering: we haven't been seriously attacked on our soil in centuries.

Hmm, the more I hear him talk, the more I like what he says, on a fundamental level. He has a fundamental attitude toward how government should operate: this is very different from any of the other politicians currently vying for the presidency (including the president himself, who was an idealist and now has become a cynic). He's talking about restoring American as the founding father's intended, he's going old school...very old school. I think he's nailed it.

@outforsushi I think his point was that if you are a rich person and commit murder you are more likely to get off and not get the death penalty as opposed to a minority. Also he was saying that with DNA evidence showing that many murderers were wrongly convicted that it is not a good thing to put people to death when there is a chance that they might be innocent. Also he was not willing to take that right away from the states which of course would be unconstitutional.

It just struck me; you are never going to see another candidate talk so freely on what they believe. They will always be in consultation with their campaigns.
