This was class apart compared to RS and AC. UD hit the notes with such clarity, her nuances were unbelievably intricate (something hard to hear with the music) and equally important she actually sung the song rather than sing one line at a time which is what RS and AC did. Clearly a winner as far as this performance goes.

Parag, I see that in your worship for this contestant, all rationality goes out the window...Your comments about UD's performance/s are utterly ludicrous IMHO.

Parag, I appreciate your sporting approach to my comment.(I was scared of receiving an angry reply) Now to answer your question, You said UD hit the notes with clarity, and that is very surprising, consider the kind of listener you are. She was clearlty off key and the judges commented about it also.

Oh sure! No issues. BTW I like UD but also like AC RS and am ok if anyone wins.
What Alka Y said was only for the very last note ... didn't apply to the whole song. Also her criticism was hypocritical since RS and AC had at least 5-10 missed swars. But she didn't point that out.
Alka Y did point out nuances of UD. And finally if you listen to Salil's comment he said he didn't miss instruments. And that's what a true melody is. You don't need anything except singer's voice.

BTW I am not as a die hard UD fan as I was KG fan. I think UD is very very good ... may be great. (and so are AC and RS). But all of them fall short of being genius which is what KG is. I know you probably don't agree. about KG ... but just wanted to point it out .....

Good to know of your feelings about kG. Thanks for sharing them. You are right about me, I do not think KG is a genius, she is only a good singer with a limited range IMO. BUT its only my opinion, what do I know ;)
