How it works: There are small screens (you can even see them) just under the 45 degrees tilded glass walls, their image is reflected so as to look as if it was floating in the air inside. They usually show rotating objects to give the effect of 3d when all it really is, just a 2d image. So essentially being impressed by this is like being impressed by the reflection of your tv screen in the window that seems to be floating in the air outside. It's a cool effect but not a real hologram, =deadend.

As the display area rotates diferent images are projected corresponing to diferent angles of the object displayed. This system is really a true 360 degree hologram, but only in the x-axel. If you move your head up and down as you look at it it will not change. There is however a true holographic midair projection system that uses lasers to make plasma pixels in the air.
