I don't think I'd have the patience to make stuff this big, but it's awesome to see what other people have done and to get a better sense of the scale of things from fictional universes like Power Rangers and Star Trek. As a Power Rangers fan, I really appreciate you sharing this full-scale model of the original Megazord on YouTube.
@muterabbit I am NOT a big build guy on Minecraft, and this was easier than it looks to do, as I had the toy one, then just measured it and converted it to blocks. The hard part was the wool...But this was the hardest thing I've ever done anyway. Plus the mobs getting in the way.
@MBXfilms I could definitely see how it would be difficult; the original Megazord was made up of some pretty complex shapes. What do you mean by wool and mobs?
@muterabbit Wool is what it is made of in-game, I had to punch a lot of sheep and use lots of dye. And Mobs are the enemies that appear at night that I had to deal with also.
It's all survival built, not creative mode or whatever.
@MBXfilms Oh, okay. When I first heard of Minecraft, I thought it was all about building. Is the survival aspect really annoying, or is it only a minor nuisance?
@muterabbit It's a game so I expect that sort of hindrance and combat. I don't like the purely creative mode at all. It's way more impressive if you make builds in the real gamee where you have to mine, fight, ect. That's why most of this big builds you see are lame, because they just summoned blocks and were not in danger at all. Just my opinion.
