wow! that was awesome! i've been looking at a lot of ribbon contoller videos, and this is, by far, the best! how do you get it to not sound like crap? can you set it to scales or something like that?
Is it possible to use the doepfer with something like a softsynth or a korg radias (something thats digital and midi driven) but WITHOUT those jumps in pitch?
I just want to use it with a dspsynth or softsynth but get the same kind of smooth pitchbending i hear on the "Once Upon a Time in the West" with DOEPFER R2M vıdeo.
DOEPFER R2M can send only MIDI pitch bend message for the smooth pitch change. Please see manual about detail, the manual can download from DOEPFER web.

I used filter of Motif es. R2M can set 16 types of scale.

have you been able to do the same smooth pitch changes than in your minimoog video wıth the doepfer and a dsp synth or a softsynth.
just wıthout these jumps in pitch i hear in this video?

If you can set pitch bend range with very wide, I think that can make smooth pitch change using R2M.

If your Synth has got a glide, you don't have those jumps if you use glide... i'm not sure, 'cause i haven't got a ribbon

a ribbpm controler is the strip above the keyboard. when u slide your finger accross it it slides the sound
