XSPLIT does not do everything, I cannot broadcast full screen of Starcraft 2 ... so it's not good for that.

To anyone else watching this, he says there are only two relevant settings in the ffdshow encoder page, but that's not entirely true. Next to FOURCC on the top, make sure it's set to DX50. I originally had it set to XVID which is a much more demanding compression codec and decreased the framerate very significantly (by about half).

Also, I managed to acquire the version of VHCapture that he's showing off. If anyone needs it drop me a message and I will provide.

Xsplit Broadcaster... It does EVERYTHING that Day9's combination of programs does, all in one. and it even streams directly to the streaming sites.
