I have found that a FRONT naked choke (like an arm triangle choke without his arm in the way) with my left hand across his face (my inner left thumb pushing up on his inferior nasal septum - very f&$king painful) works great.
I do this from standing clinch, closed guard, and front mounted.
I know it is illegal in jiu jitsu competitions, but I seldom see this mentioned in MMA instructionals (Mario Sperry mentioned it once).
Love your teaching style along w/ techniques. tons of variations that i can put to use instantly.
