Definitely one of the harder-rocking early '70's bands.........damn good stuff for sure!! I had never seen the artwork on that Dutch pressing of the second album before, pretty cool. Don't know why, but I've always liked that older, orange Mercury label, Mercury changed their label design several times over the years it seemed. I've got the CD reissue that Mercury did that had both albums on one disc, cool post, thanks as always!!!
Hi Janne...I just checked out that link and I really liked what I heard. Must be nice playing with Neon Rose and Sir Lord Baltimore! What other great 70's bands have you had the good fortune to play with?
Thanks! Well... I've had the great pleasure of jamming/playing with some of my fav musicians such as Leslie West, Ken Hensley, Uli Roth and Nicky Moore. I've had Rusty Burns (Point Blank) play on one of my albums. Captain Beyond borrowed our relearsal space when they played in Sweden which was fun. Great people all of them!
John is cool...one of my favourite singing drummers for sure. I liked him with the 90's band The Lizards as well...he played with them for awhile.
I couldn't find my US pressing of Sir Lord Baltimore's self titled LP...so I used my Dutch pressing as imagery for this video. I think I might add it over at 'Rate Your Music', as it isn't listed as of yet.
"Kingdom Come" is the original US pressing though :)

Check out my MySpace for mine and John Garner's re-recording of "Woman Tamer". myspace(dot)com/jannestark
John Garner: vocals/drums
Janne Stark: guitars/bass
We even rehearsed a whole SLB set with a bass-player and were supposed to "go live", but it unfortunately didn't happen. John is a GREAT guy!

I think they are one of the best heavy psych bands out there. Since I started doing interviews I have been contacting John Garner, but no luck...
