Most people think YSB is a little worse than Hayao (though more fun to watch) and that sugiyama is a little better than PinoAB7 (though less fun to watch). So why did the better hugo lose to the worse necro when the worse hugo beat the better necro?

In some ways, I agree. Here's my view on it:

Sugiyama and PinoAB7 are both widely considered the best Necro players out there. However, one isn't better than the other in my view. Sugi has a more defense-oriented style as opposed to Pino's very agressive style. Don't get me wrong, Pino can defend and parry great and Sugi can lay down the pimp hand with a quickness, but general playstyle... yeah. That's where I'm comin' from.

As for YSB vs. Hayao, hmm... I'm not entirely too sure. =/
