@Hellmth .....Marek ist nicht voll in die Eisen gegangen,sondern es war ganz einfach ein Verschalter(statt in den 3. Gang,hat er den 1.getroffen)

er konnte zwar den Lauf noch zu ende fahren,aber das Getriebe hat es ihn trotzdem übel genommen......Riß im Gehäuse

mit neuen Getriebe und NUR als Testlauf,2 Wochen später,mal eine 9,24 in Alkersleben in die Bahn gebrannt :D :D :D

@N1ceGuyEdd1e hmmmm if this car would have delta s4 engine it would be much faster ....... short story: delta s4 is 1.8 16v turbo & supercharger (compressor )wich in group b rally produced 600 hp and under 2.3 sec from 0-60 mph ( 0-100kmh) on gravel !!!in these days bruno laniello uses delta s4 hillclimber with 1.8 16 v 850 hp ..... much much mucccchhhh better angine than your only turbo shit of engine

Lancia S4 have very Short ratio gearbox,For rally.

which give excellent acceleration but small top speed (180km/h).With Longest ratio setup for original gearbox,max speed for Lancia S4 is only 225Km/h

This Polo have 1.8 16v Engine with 1047hp on wheels and 950Nm.Gearbox is DSG with Long ratios with top speed above 290Km/h.

To mention ,times from 0-64mph ,polo pass for 2.3 sec. times may be better,but turbo lag make problems and gearbox is set for much higher Speeds,above 100km/h.

No it will be Slower,becouse delta S4 engine 1.8 16v developed 600Bhp (Crankshaft Hp)

and only 400Nm of torque.

0-60mph times are low because Lancia S4 is very Light .Roll bar chasis covered with Plastic shell.

Lancia Driver sit on Petrol tank,under the seat,one of reasons why Lancia lost so many Crews.

Constant deadly accidents by Lancia team led to group b finall cancellation.

Audi S1 with PDK gearbox for 1986 season pass 0-60mph for 2.1sec.

and have top speed of 240Km/h
