Very cool guys! With different colors of fabric you could really vary your playing surface and have a lot of very cool boards to play on. Thanks for the tip about the OSB. I'm from the North and always wondered why gaming clubs I went to when I was stationed in the South always used untreated plywood instead of OSB. Keep those good tips coming. totally subbed after seeing this vid.
As soon as I get through this weekend I will get back to building the Thunderhawk! Things will progress rapidly! Stay tuned and check back often!
I think this would work well with the three 2 ft x 4 ft boards. You would just have the line down the sections. Cover them with a spare piece of felt and you will be good to go!
GW dont put a board on the battlemap for a good reason, not everyones as lucky enuff to have as much room as you've got

You probably shouldn't be using treated wood inside anyways so I'm sure you're better off with what you got.

How well does the felt hold up in play?

Funny, I did something like this, and Home Depot charged me almost 100 dollars for 2 boards O.O

Great vid, really good Idea. Do you think this idea would work for a more modular table? Like three 2x4 boards?

This is great help as I've been trying to figure out how to setup a warhammer table that won't take up an entire room!
