Its to quiet i bet that it still has two mufflers and a resonator your better off building a custom one like i did much better sound with a strait through muffler like the borla turbo design add a intake and u will love the sound even more

Noticeable gains can be achieved by tuning the ecu. Nordic and BSR are two of the main companies that offer a tune for the Saab 9-3ss. Many people go for the BSR PPC stg 1 tune ($900 or so)as this is a "reflash" by plugging the unit into the ODBII port and uploading the program to the car. Gains from the intake and exhaust will be minimal until the car's ecu is reprogrammed.

the company he used, BSR claims 285hp and 320ft.lbs with just a software upgrade

285 hp and 320 lb-ft is bhp numbers for the stg1 tune for the 2.8t V6 (2006 aero and up).

As Bkrona noted, stg 1 tune for the 2.0T will get you around 250 bhp and 290 lb-ft.

what do u mean by "with esp"?? with ASR ithink. the esp is contoling at the corners and sides slides. ASR is for not spinning wheels at start

It only has BSR Tuning, 2.5'' Echaust and K&N filter. It makes 250hp. You can get much more than that out of a 9-3 but this way I get better mpg than stock. It will run you about $1800.
