Nexus One eats the iPhone alive. Way more features. The only thing that is keeping the iPhone alive is the app store. Give it a couple more years and android market will have way more apps than the app store because Apple is so restrictive on apps. There is also like 50 fart apps and many other useless apps. So their number of apps is misleading. About time there was some competition. Apple have been taking it for granted for too long.

it is capable of multi touch, there is software available that supports it. But I do understand some thoughty why you wouldn't want mulit-touch... for example because you can't realy use multitouch with just one hand available. on the other hand i'd want it for google-maps.

This is basically my dream phone. Available unlocked with Android and a 1ghz processor. I held out on the HD2 because of winmo and now I'm glad I did.

The iphone was never an option for me for two reasons: I hate being forced to use a given carrier and being massively overcharged for it and I already own a 32 gig ipod touch.

now, now - don't be mad against some hard facts :D I never mean to insult anyone, but it's true. Imagine in 2 years - Google will probably have a Million applications more than Apple. Probably I say! And because it's open sourced I am almost sure of it. Still the phone isn't quite what I expected. The biggest disappointment is some sort of music player. And a bit more space for applications. But it's waaaaaay cheaper than Iphone. That's a BIG good thing too.

apple's only advantage is that their consumers are fanboys who don't ask themselves what a product can do for its money but buy it because they don't want to look bad in front of their apple fanboy friends.
