  • what percentage was your throws for the ailerons set at

  • excellent.

  • gay

  • Very fast, and dangerous. ; }

  • I'll say he opts to fly on his own system for a good reason folks. All the sensors in my remote were coming loose gradually as I used the trim levers, which eventually lead to my throttle sensor coming off mid flight, luckily, it happened on approach to land and without the needed power, It landed Aircraft Carrier style, HARD. The plane is very robust however and is fine, but I have to tighten the sensors in the stock 2.4GHz remote if I ever use it more than 5 or six times!

  • Man, Pete. My F-16 is all set to fly. I took it outside on the street to make sure the front steering was true, and opened it up for about 1.5 seconds... It's a ROCKET.

I'm a AMA member and anyone who buys this should become one before they fly this.

  • that guy is so anoying

  • What are retracts? Can i get this in a smaller model?

  • I think retracts are retractable undercarriage wheels.

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, that was filmed at Whittier Narrows huh?

  • Beautiful but, it need retracts. Please get with your mfg. and work that out. WE WANT RETRACTS! :)

  • there is a retract version

  • Retracts for THIS airplane ...or a different model?

  • This one

  • Hey pete on one of you video can you put a camera on it?

    -Blaze

  • Hey Pete,

I just ordered this and the awesome F-15 from you. I cant wait to get them. Can either of these planes be fitted with retracts? Thanks!!!

  • pete-

do you sell new nosecones for this plane?

id like to buy about 5

    let me know!

(hobby lobby sucks and does not respond)

  • Yes we do have the nose cones in stock. They should be on or site. If they are not, they will be in a few days. Thanks for your patience!

  • awesome, can u give me a link, because i have searched your site high and low and cannot find your F-16 nose cone on there

  • Looks like the parts are not up yet. I will get you a link as soon as it is up.

  • Yeah, 2 bad we live so far away.. im having the same problem..

i really want one of these birds..:D

    (greetings from amsterdam)

  • I deleted the other guys message by mistake. You can ad to cart and see how much the shipping is. Its really not expensive. Hello Amsterdam!

  • Hi Pete

    I just wanted 2 ask u a few things.

    1. Is that im having trouble decising between the raptor and the f16 ducted fan model and I wanted 2 no what is the easier model 2 fly, What 1 is more fun 2 fly, what 1 is more aerobatic and what 1 do you prefeer??

I'm having a bit of trouble decising so any help would be great!!

    O aye great flying!!! :)

    Thxs Matt

  • Matt, I love the performance of the F-16. They are aerobatic and can slow down to a nice speed. I would go with an F-16.

  • Hi i got my first plane about 1 year ago, But i haven't been able to fly it. I can't find places to find it. What is the best place to fly rc planes?

  • I fly at a couple local soccer practice fields... Long as nobody's playing. Parks, fields, etc. Also if there's an abandoned large parking lot without too many lightpoles, you could use those too

  • You are correct. You have to be careful where you fly. You have to respect the people who utilize the same area and be safe.

  • Google Academy of Model Aeronautics. They will give you a list of sites that are approved. Depending on where you live, you may be able to fly at a big vacant field.

  • Big open fields, no trees, cables, cars or people. the area should be flat. the grass shold be mowed down (most planes rip up on take off and land if long grass hits them. Fly safe and a definate must is do a wind check. tie a ribbon to antenna and have control parralle to the ground if ribbon moves too high dont fly you can regret it.

  • you know that 5ch-6ch plane is better cos it reduce drag

  • Hey Bananahobby - I just got this jet from you and out of the box very happy with the quality - I notice in your video you are not flying with the bombs fitted to the wings - does this effect the balance or give better performance ? - speaking of balance where is the center measurement on this jet so I can test for any required weight shift !???

  • Hello, if i ordered from BH would the TX come in 'Mode2' ie throttle on left stick , also can it be supplied with a UK spec charger ie 3 pin not 2 also will it take 240v.

    Thanks for your response!.

  • We sell all our TX's on mode 2. Unless it is specified, we do not offer any other modes. You can do the modification yourself in about 20 minutes. As for the charger, you will need to buy a converter for your local V arrangement.

  • Glad to hear you are pleased with the quality! I didn't fly with the drop tanks on the video because I forgot to install them. They do not alter the CG at all. The battery bay, place the 4S where it is listed and the CG is right on the money. This is one of the best flying F-16's around.

  • iv have piloted a few times and i was thinking about getting this plane . do you think i should?

  • This will all depend on your extent of your flying experience.

  • Hi, the controller has three lights, the blue ligh keeps flashing, if i put new batteries in it stays on and allows the plane to set up, does the blue light flash again when the batteries are week then the yellow then the red, if not why are there three lights, also does it fly straight and level as it is as the instruction dont show the C.O.G setting, will it roll fast enough without loosing height on minmal throws set on the ailerons?, thank for you response!.

  • I'm not sure what transmitter it is that you received. Please specify and I can assist you better. The roll rate is great. It will roll on axis without loosing altitude if your setting allow it to roll fast enough. Inverted flight needs a bit of down elevator to keep her level.

  • Hi, thanks for the response, the transmitter has got a 'Famous' sticker on it, also it has a set of small white switches inside the battery cover with letters D N O what do these switches do? are they servo reverse maybe?. Cheerz again!.

  • im a beginner in rc avation.

would it be okay if i started with an edf plane

or should i get something else

  • It is always better to start with something a bit more friendly for a complete beginner. I am not saying that you can not learn with a EDF. EDF's tend to be faster and quicker reactions are needed on the inputs. A propeller aircraft will give you a bit more response time.

  • hey pete im an experienced pilot w/ simulators, aerobatics & aerodynamics. Hows the mig 29 from the website? can it roll fast? can it tumble or snap rolll? how fast is it really? [idk weather to listen to the subtitles or the features] is it a good overall plane? pleasse get back to me a.s.a.p i want a jet from banana hobby. com

    thanks so much!

  • I am working on the Mig 29 video this week hopefully. It is a Twin EDF and the speed is very impressive. Overall it is a great flying EDF. I will get that video made so you can see the performance!

  • Comment removed

  • I crashed my P-51 because it was a piece of *Censored*, and I have experience with RC Planes, should I get an F-16?

  • The F-16 is a really nice flying EDF. It will depend on if you feel you are ready for an EDF.

  • HOW MUCH IS THIS THING

  • Come check it out on our website!

  • The fray?

  • Nope. Switchfoot =)

  • that thing is gorgeous

  • Thank you!

  • PM's are private messages sent through this site

  • Thank you! I believe customer support is most important!

  • hey pete i messaged you with the shipping number you gave me, but nothing has arrived yet? have you gotten my PM?

  • I am checking the PM's now!

  • hey pete,

still haven't heard back. i'll resend the PM again.

    thanks man

  • hey pete, i seen you say in a comment on another video the f-16 is by far your favorite edf, is there any differences in this one and the other one you guys offer? speed, flight time, fan size, exc..

im about to come into some money and ive been wanting to buy a jet from u guys for some time, yall offer every jet i can think of.. kinda stuck between the f-16's, the f-117 and the f-104

i havent watched all the jet reviews yet so ill prolly see a few more to get stuck between. thanks pete!

  • This F-16 is the 70mm EDF model. It is full 4 channel and has a working rudder and steering nose wheel. I just love F-16's and the flying character is just awesome! If you are looking for a great EDF for power, performance and stability, this F-16 is awesome. The F-104 is fast but not as stable as a F-16 or F-4. Thanks!

  • yea i know the specs on this f16, i was just wondering if theres any difference between this one and.. i think you have a US Thunderbirds version? like speed/handling/stability.. or is it just a different paint scheme but the same plane?

  • This one is 70mm EDF. The US Tbirds one we carry is 64mm and hand launch only. We have a new version coming out the next couple of weeks.

  • bet it has one hell of a visious stall lol

  • I slowed her way down and as long as you use that rudder, it actually is very stall friendly.

  • o, kk, so it dosnt have a tendancy to tip stall then?

  • I have not had any tip stalling issues at all =)

  • whats the difference between this airframe and the one famous makes through hobby-lobby?

  • Airframes are similar. The electronics used in the BlitzRC are more specific. Thanks!

  • HEY pete your awsome just some news for you reviews i have reed say they can never reach customer service or call to order or just not getting product on time i was 2 clicks from ordering no answers at phone 1hr i tried busy both numbers if i ever do order we will see what happens customer service needs worked on nothing against you pete thanks anyway....

  • I completely understand. We are in the process of moving to a much larger facility. We will have multiple personnel doing support. New phone systems, the whole nine yards. Much improvements are coming. Please be patient with us as we transition. Thanks!!

  • pete- i emailed you guys a question about this and you have not responded. just wondering when you will be answering my question?

  • I am so sorry buddy. Can you message me here with your question please?

  • hey pete, thanks for answering me. i sent you my message so it should be in your youtube inbox. let me know when you get it.

    thanks again man

  • pete i still haven't heard back yet. did you get my message or do you want me to post it here instead??

  • My inbox is over filling. I am going to answer my inbox later tonight. Thanks for your patience!

  • yo pete i still havent gotten a response. i thought you guys stressed tech support and what not? i still have not heard anything. hope to hear back soon

  • I just saw that you had PM's me. Sorry for the lack of response. We are in the middle of a move to a much larger location. PM me your order number and I will ship you a replacement LiPo right away. Sorry again for the delay in response.

  • hey pete, did you get my last PM? thanks man, hope to hear back soon!

  • Got it and I replied I thought?

  • nah my inbox is empty, can you resend?

    thanks!

  • Will do.

  • hey pete, i resent my entire PM, should be in your inbox. thanks man!

  • hey ok don't know why my ? didn't post does this include a charger

  • Towards the end of the video it says whats included and it shows balance charger at the 8:52 mark.

  • This model no longer includes the charger. Sorry!

  • If anyone knows what the top and bottom colors are for the f16 70mm could you let me know spent 12 bucks trying to match the colors for touch up. thanks's Todd

  • Todd, no one has the exact colors or color names. I was able to match it up by using acrylics and I mixed it to get a similar color.

  • Pete is this jet able to go vertical with the included setup?

  • She will pull on a vertical up line. The vertical is not unlimited towards the middle of a pack cycle, but on initial take off, will vertical for a long whiles!

  • Hey pete I had A quick question about this f-16. I was on hobby-lobby today and they sell a f-16 that looks exactly like this one. are they the same jet?

  • yes, exact same plane, i have it

  • pete your cool in my book i see alot of rude comments about not getting parts and other things thats just the way it gos sometimes i have a walkera 60 heli nothing but trouble i think it is cool but acts like a chinaman on crack but anyway keep it up pete wish i could get one of them jets for free lol great flying rotorwash46

  • Thanks for the comment! I am always working on a better future!

  • Anyone who buys the F16 70mm check the clevises, one of mine was stripped but they do give you two extras.Good luck, Todd

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Thanks for such a fast response Pete I did find out the problem.I'm so used to flying 3d that I put to much elevater throw.I put the clevises on the outside holes on the servo side and the elevater side. Problem solved, To bad they dont give throw rates and a balance point in the instruction manual. and also wish they included touch up paint.Anyways the price is great and i would recommend this jet to anyone who can fly a low wing aircraft.Awesome jet blast to fly. A+++++++ Todd

  • I was thinking too much throw on the control surface. Glad you were able to figure it out! Happy Flights and Landings!

  • i have a question can i order the 70mm f-16 fighting falcon and get it delieverd to Canada?

  • We ship worldwide! Happy Holidays!

  • Pete I just bought one from banana hobby I took it to the field and it flew great but had one problem it went into a downword spiral for no reason. The instruction maneul does not give the balance point or the throw rate, do you think to much elevater would cause this.thanks Todd PS JET IS AWSOME WRONG MARKINGS THOUGH WW11

  • Pete in the next comment it is the 70mm F16 I forgot to mention that ooPs

  • Sorry to hear that! Where did you place the battery? Too much control throw can cause something like you said, but not likely. In a jet, you don't need too much throw at all. I will try and get you the measurements.

  • Thanks for the advice Pete. I ordered a 64mm F-16. As a beginner to jets...What hand launch jet would you recommend?

  • If you ordered the F-16 already, that is a great little hand launch EDF!

  • i just bought this from banana hobby, and so far i am very disappointed with this P.O.S. first it takes me 3 hours to glue the damn thing together and get it set up, then when i take it out to taxi for the first time, the damn steering arm snaps. Soooooo. i epoxy that and were good to go, so i thought. i take it out to the the field and go to plug in the battery, and about 5 seconds later, smokes starts coming out of the canopy.

  • Hey Pete...called your store today but missed you. You sell this and a smaller 64mm model. I am a beginner, and need to hand launch...Which would you recommend?

  • The 64mm F-16 is hand launch only. This larger one I have not tried hand launching yet. Its pretty big. Although it does have ample power. I just have not tried it yet. If you are a beginner, the F-16 may be a bit fast for a total beginner. Let me know if you have any questions!

  • What's the radio range? How fast can it go? FLight time???

    (=

  • You can see all the details on our site! Thanks!

  • It should only take 1 day to reach you in the OC!

  • Hi Pete,

is it possible to remove the undercarriage and hand launch the model with the standard setup.

  • I have not explored the area of hand launching this F-16 yet. It has ample power and it does have an area to grip to for a successful hand launch. I just have not tried it as of yet.

  • Anytime!

  • where r u flyin at? i guess u cant fly this in park or can u

  • I am flying at a sanctioned field. You can fly this at a ball park as long as the area is large enough. Thanks!

  • The Yak-54 flies better!

  • anytime!

  • I hear ya buddy. I would say start with the Yak-54. It is so fun to fly 3D with it!

  • I love both of them!!

  • This F-16 is a totally different type of an aircraft then the Yak-54. Both fly just awesome!

  • Just a question, why does this F-16 have the WWII American markings?

  • That I can not answer! I have no clue!

  • its only 219 cuz its on sale.

  • He was just saying, you can get the SAME plane anywhere else for the 250 dollar range.

But on banana hobby, it says its list price is 700....

  • List is a price that is like the suggested retail price. Like cameras and things. Despite what the list price is, the sale price is the one that matters. Thanks!

  • Pete, excellent video. You should do an electronics review on this aircraft and take off the undercarriage cowling to show off the guts of the plane.

  • For sure! I will be making an in the box video for this pretty soon and will definitely show that! Thanks!!

  • Can't wait to see it. This aircraft is very high up on my list of additions to my already large collection lol....

  • It's on the way soon! Thanks!

  • Funny, looks like the Famous Models F-16 sold by Hobby Lobby. Right down to the plastic strap.

U got better price tho...but "$700 List"?!? For eps foam and cheap electronics? BWAHAHAHA

    'How much is that plane?'

'$700 but for you pretty lady, $219' lol

    Dude, this is America ;0)

Love the vids, keep em coming.

  • Thanks for the comment! LOL on the list price! I don't provide those prices. They are done so from the IT department.

  • i love all the videos sir pls make more can you make the spitfire sir pls pls il tell my sister about it to get for me for christmas hehe thank you sir more power!!!! bananahobby rules!!!!!

  • Sure thing! More videos coming! :)

  • oh, and how well of a belly lander do you think this would make?

  • Belly landings would be okay. Just flare it nice and some soft grass and it will be fine!

  • hey, what jet would your recomend between the f5 and f16?

  • I personally like BOTH! However, the F-16 takes the cake! I just love the F-16's! The performance is better as well.

  • wow ,nice flying ,you make it look so easy ,the plane seems to handle pretty well too :)

  • Thanks for the comment! The F-16 flies so nice!

  • What kind of flight times are you getting if you stay easy on the throttle?

    Thanks

  • I tried that and I am getting about 8 minutes give or take. Thanks!

  • Pete, will the installed servos work with a Spektrum 7 ch radio system

  • kibble, yep they sure would! I know several guys using their DX7's. Thanks!

  • Nice flight demo: Pete, ya make it look easy with the low passes and flight management from start to finish!

  • I really do appreciate your comment! Thank you! More videos to come!

  • wow b e a utiful take off and langing

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • As always, great flight and great review. My buddy plans on ordering the 70mm F-4 from you. (He's having it sent to my place so his fiance doesn't kill him.) Are you doing a flight review of it soon?

  • Thanks for the comment! I was actually out my door about 15 minutes ago to do the 70mm F-4 Flight Review and realized it was a bit late in the morning so I decided to produce the video tomorrow! Please stay tuned, the F-4 is coming!

  • Great I'll let my buddy know.

  • hey pete thats a pretty fast edf, how fast do you think its moving looks like 95-100mph

  • Yes she sure is up there in top end speed! We are going to try and get a radar reading soon. IF I was to estimate, I would say it may be in the upwards of 90 mph on a pass. May be more. Thanks for the comment!

  • 90mph or more is great、

I trust you、How many thrust power does it have at 4SLipo?

It looks like 900g or more by 4SLipo.

  • sweet

  • Thanks!

  • Hi Pete. thes thing is soooooooooo sweet!!! Whats the Lenght and Wingspan of this model, looks very big !!! Do you have maybe a review from the the E-Flite Airliner Boeing 777 or a test flight to show us? Thanks man.

  • Thanks for the comment! The wingspan is 30.7 Inches. This is one SWEET F-16 for sure! I do not have any reviews of the 777. Thanks!!

  • Pete; newbee here. Had two helicopters. I Currently have the new E-Flite Blade MCX to fly indoors. It is great! I want to get into RC Airplanes and I believe I need to start on a simulator?? Can you recommend one FS One? I love the new F-16 but I am sure it is not for a beginner? Give me your thoughts? Thank You; Scott

  • Scott, the Jets are not really beginner friendly. Simulators are always a great investment! Put in some sim time and be confident and when you are get a plane!

  • cool

  • Thanks!

  • Great!

  • Thanks!

  • YAY FIRST COMMENT

  • lol! Thanks!
