u can read some reviews if u want but i am sure that ati realeased 4730 so as to make another 4830 with less money and a bit faster on the memory clock,since 4730 uses gddr5 and 4830 only gddr3!

I'm getting an Asus M4A79 Deluxe motherboard, an AMD Athlon 64 X2 some Corsair DDR-1200 RAM, and the HD 4830.

This graphics card seems pretty good. I've seen it running GTA4 at 30 FPS!

Sure beats the Xbox 360 and PS3... if Halo 3: ODST comes to the PC soon, I'm selling my Xbox!

i got gigabyte G31M-S2L mobo im planing to buy sapphire hd 4830 the problem is my mobo only support pci-e x16 and the sapphire hd 4830 is a pci-e 2.0 edition would it be compatible to my mobo?

I'm not great with laptops, but I'm thinking of getting the ASUS W90VP, which has 2x ATI Radeon 4870's, but I know that it is compressed to be in a laptop form. I know Desktop GPU's, so what would be the desktop equivalent of a laptop 2x ATI Radeon 4870? Could it run any game (I don't care if on highest)?

oh yeah, trust me itll run a lot of games, probly on highest settings for most. I have a friend who's running crisis on high with a Core2Duo and a 9600M GPU, so im sure if youre running two 4870's youll be able to run crisis on very high and all other games from its time even most from today.
