These cats will be reported about in firehouse acting like that one day. I agree with the people saying knock it down a bit first. Still could go in a get your jollies, and get a great knock down. But without the POINTLESS risk. Merc shows he probably hasnt even been allowed to go in a house yet, and thinks he is the shit.
You guys are just plain haters. Do you know what actually happened? Where you there? Maybe they had reports of a vic somewhere. I say great efficient use of a single handline. Way to get it in. I'd like to see you bums get in there like that. Ya'll probably wouldnt even have your bottle on yet.
@mercbenzforlife Good point if there was a victim, maybe in a back room (probably the only place if at all someone could survive in there). But then why not enter the structure from the opposite side to push the fire out of the house rather than onto the victim?. I'm all for aggressive interior attacks, we dont fool around in milwaukee. But I think I would have knocked the fire down from the outside, take 2 seconds to sound the floor, then continue. Maybe they new the house had no basement?
@FireCaptain2008 Another 15-20 seconds at the front door to hit the eaves a little better would've been the thing to do. It wouldn't be good if that eave relit and came down blocking their exit. Just a little more time and they can still get a heck of a knock down.
I have to agree with subhard. Even though they got in there and knocked it down the building is going to be demolished. And for all reading this, there is a difference between aggressive firefighting and reckless firefighting.
why is it ridiculous? It is an aggressive attack depts do it all over the country. What you think they should stand outside with their thumbs up their ass and watch it burn down.
keyboard heros and saftey sams dont understand that being a firemen doesn't always involve watching the destruction of property while doing nothing.

Nice knock down. But better example of what NOT to do.

thats a good way to fall thru the floor of a house that will be demolished anyway. you dont have to be in the fire to put water on it
