I absolutely agree with her about what romance is. It's friendship and then the perks. I like her books, except I stopped reading them when her Dallas character never lets go of what happened to her as a child and it was sick. She's not dealt with it through I don't know how many I'd read before I stopped. It got to be too much and too tiresome. Too sick. Maybe she's finally dealt with it but I didn't want to read book after book about it. It was sick to begin with but never is closed.
I only discovered Nora's books a few weeks ago, so i've not read many yet but i think she's amazing!! Does anyone know what the best books would be for me to read?
I've only read those so far but I've watched the movies Angels Fall, Midnight Bayou, Tribute, Montana Sky, High Noon & Blue Smoke - that got me looking up the books to read. I'd say watch the movies then read the book. Have fun!
@greenhouse39 i would definetly say since your starting fresh you may as well start with her newest novels the bridel quartet series the first book is visions in white.
also i would recommend the villa which is an older novel
@greenhouse39 My friend reccomended her book to me and me being more of a criminal thriller genre sort of reader was like pfffffff I'm not gonna enjoy this, but her book Sea Swept (first novel of the triology) is my absolute favorite book. The other two are called: Rising Tides and Inner Harbour - the fourth installment is called Chesapeake Blue. Trust me, it'll totally be worth your time. Enjoy!!!
I luv u Nora! You r so right about the dishes. Most men seem 2 consider the things women no have 2 b done, as beneith them 2 do. That's very hurtful @ not at all romantic. When u c ur man up 2 his elbows n suds. Well. It's suddenly bath time 4 2. We know the value of a man that will do dishes @ laundy 4 us cuz we know how much love we need 2 do it 4 them. Its like a ultimate re-establishment of the commitment @ respect, all rolled up n a sink full of bubbles. Gotta luv it.
hehe tacoma. It's not that complicated. The leading man is always a good guy. The bad boy image is just the female leads misinterpretation of his unapologetic bulging muscles, excessively good looks and tight jeans. Basically a whole lot of testoterone in a commitment capable package.
Best of all, a Nora Roberts romance novel comes with a guarantee the male lead will only lust the female lead forever. What more could a gal want? :)
l love his novel "in the garden" blue dahlia

OK. I admit, I still don't understand romance. You like the bad boy but you really want the good guy but not in real life. I am so not getting this!
