@ManSkiSkeet She rolled it out into a cane, that's how it gets smaller. A cane is basically a cylinder, and since the volume is the same before and after, the formula for finding the volume of a cylinder applies (V=pi*r2*h). So as the length increases, the radius decreases by a lot more since it's squared.

Normally i bake my clay creations for like 30 min in 110 degrees, but should i have 110 in 5 minutes? :)

@towainmyheart I think it depends on a) what your making and b) what clay you are using. There are many different types and they tend to have different baking times. Follow the instructions on your packets for times i would. Also, this person is making a cane that could be used with other non baked things and would be baked again, it doesnt have to be baked for long, just long enough so it doesnt go out of shape. However if its something thats a final peice it might need longer for strength.

@xovictaperxo well that happened to me a BUNCH of times to prevent your colors from blending or smearing put your cane after its rolled in the fridge for a few minutes then take it out i dont bake it but u can if u want then cut it with a sharp kitchen knife! thats what i did and it worked GREAT :) hope it helped!
