I like Dr. Llaila Afrika but I totally disagree with him about homosexuality! It is NOT taught and it's not a disease or behavior so therefore you need no cure. His stance on this issue is emotional and person nothing to do with science.

First of all i couldnt care less if Akbar was a homosexual. What are we afraid of? Why do we sooo believe it's European. If so..WHY are there black people gay? Oh they imitate the white man! The circumstances of homosexuality is such an extensive subject to cover. To where, many afrocentric people and representatives wouldn't want to deal with it! let alone fathoming the depths! Dr. Akbar could be blue with 1 eye and I still love him because his philosophy and delivery freed my mind.. If he had a flaw, we should ignore it as if we were in the Nation.. What 's s bad is.. some people will here this info and won't read Dr.Akbar's book and that's the problem right there.. I call this type of behavior 1foot in Africa and 1 in America, and you can't be in America and Africa at one time in our minds, WE DON'T KNOW.. @mootst1 I totally agree with you. This is only one flaw, but it should not discredit his 'factual' studies. To me anyone that respond to homosexuality it's always emotional/persona stance. I will continue to read his books and listen to his lecture. You will not agree with anyone 100% of the time.
