Actually, Seattle's "12th Man" tradition was ripped off of Texas A&M University, which is regarded by many sports journalists as having both the most passionate student body and the best stadium atmosphere. Way to rip off of one of the most rich traditions in NCAA sports.

where was the 12th man three years ago when 50,000 steeler fans packed out ford field for the super bowl and we outnumbered seahawks fans 25 to 1? steelers have the best fanbase in the nfl steeler nation baby and we're goin all the way again this year

I won Seahawks season tickets two years ago from 710KIRO. I was amazed at how loud Qwest field gets!
Now I'm back to watching games on the old 27" tv again. Not nearly as fun.
