@renarena2007 Lived with various family members whom some were also addicts or ''recovering''. The young girls need positive role models. I am thankful that I had positive role models and I hope that they search for positive role models and not ger distracted. I lived west in the early birth-9 yrs old [irvington, mid bmore, edmonson], lived out northeast in 10-16 [ belair rd, e.28th st,] then south bmore[pigtown]16-17 then pittsburgh pa 17-21 now ny 21-22
Baltimore is screwed up because the rich neighborhood is literally one block away from the poor. Two worlds apart yet 10 feet apart. Crazy. School right in the rich people's back yard yet their kids go to school ova west to the good private schools. My city amazes me, it truly does.
@Bluefaith91 Yeah I'm from East & I know we got good schools too but for the most part not really. All the prestigious private schools like gilman&roland park country are on the west & the good public schools like poly&western are too. Yeah city&dunbar are on the east but hood stuff still happen there. And for eastside middle schools, North East used to be good-they went down hill etc...I'm not knocking, but I wish my side had as many instead of having to go all the way over west for education.
Its sad that many kids do not see good role models in their communities and end up being part of the problem and not the solution.Baltimore has many decent people in the community,but some really rotten apples too.
