i think joo made it pretty easy for ma i mean almost every push after the short serve of ma went in his wide backhand so ma just almost every time knew where the ball was going and a strong forehand topspin from the backhand corner is his strongest and favorite shot the first two sets proove it :P
@razhorblahd not sure why he said that, because joo doesnt twiddle at all. He only chops far away from the table with the pips and chops or attacks with the forehand rubber. Only occasionally he attacks with his pips but not that much. He does know what balls he can attack with his pips tho. But he doesnt flip at all.
Fantastic match. The pace really picks up around the fifth game and it's clear that both players are fired up and out for the win. That's entertainment.
theres someone at my club who uses longpips on his forehand to attack with, i had a go with it, its quick but you have 2 put 100% into every shot, and you can get some spin out of it. its quite cool

Dude, you're retarded. It's an extremely well known fact that Joo uses either TSP Curl or Butterfly Feint Long, at different times. LONG pips are for chopping, SHORT pips are for hitting. There are short, medium, half long, and long pips.
Yeah, and Jang Song Man from north Korea, I know, but primarily they are for hitting like in classical C-pen hitters like He Zhi Wen and Johnny Huang.

Joo's style of mixing up chops and loops seems to be quite effective and entertaining to watch too LOL

NexxtGen 2 years ago
he both flips his racket and/or attacks with pips. he has a lot of experience with pips obvioiusly so he knows which balls he can attack with pips..
