TOR is fail. This game is a flop. Sorry people. They limped years with this and put sprinkles on their trailers all for... a cartoon starwars game instead of a lego version. Congrats. Lucasarts trolled everyones wallets of the stupid people again.

That's enough. You get the idea. This game will get dreadfully boring trust me. It's so sad The Knights of the Old Republic, yet again, another destroyed video game title by LucasArts themselves.

@CynosuralTheory don't judge a game that you never played. I've heard beta testers praise this game. I've seen gamer reviewers even say it was impressive. They can't wait to actually play the full game. So you're view is clearly not of everyone else.

@raymo333999 The cure only worked on people who hadn't yet turned completely, so there was nothing to be done about those who already were rakghouls. What I'm wondering is if the people in the undercity found their paradise (Though they probably died during the destruction as well).

I kept thinking that, "Oh this is going to just be SWG all over again" which sucked in my opinion, since it took like 5 hours to just GET to the space station... I gave up before I could get off it.

anyway this... this is... amazing. I never thought I'd see this planet again. And seeing them revive it gives me more respect for them, and more hope in my eyes that they can make a good MMO out of a great series.

It's called phasing not instancing. As WOW introduced it in Lich King and will heavily implement it in Cataclysm.

When is TOR set? How many years after the second game?

It's set 300 years after the KotOR I. So, that would be about five or ten years less for the second game.

However, I don't think Bioware are gonna make any references to the events of KotOR II (although I hope to God I'm wrong!), as it was made by Obsidian.

It's an MMO people, their built for PC gameplay. Secondly it would never go onto PS3, proof-the first two kotor games made by bioware were for xbox.

@cyclekarl I doubt it. Not very many MMO's have seen success on a console. With the PS3's ability to use a connected keyboard and mouse, sure to an extent it might be possible, but considering you can't install and configure custom drivers for particular models of mice and keyboards (no macros on the G15, for instance), I don't see it gaining much popularity over a PC version.
