Haley & Charlie had started dating & started that detective agency partnership, that infiltrated another one of Adam's schemes, that involved family- THAT's why Haley's so pissed, there!
Adam drugged them a night at dinner and faked his kidnapping. It was Gloria, Stuart, Brooke, Charlie and Hayley he did to. At the time Brooke and Charlie were trying investigate Hayley didn't and took her dad's side. Everyone found out the truth when Adam was hypnotized.
My fave was always "Hay-Lo" and Brian (the FIRST ONE)... I still think of the 2 of them when I hear Amy Grant's "Baby, Baby" as there was a scene w/them just being in love while that song played... and that's what Arlene called Hayley.
