@Lagolop Unfortunately the Arab nations, (that's the region the size of nearly the whole of North and South America) have insisted that the Palestinians are the ONLY people on earth whose refugee status is passed from one generation to the next. Most Palestinians have lived in permanent refugee camps in their 'brothers' countries. There are now reportedly 11 million 'Palestinians' who their Arab brothers insist 'must have the right of return to Israel. There are only 15 million Jews worldwide.

@Lagolop Yes. The sad truth is that the term 'Palestinian' is shorthand for 'Islamic fanatic'. Lebanon learned the hard way, by taking in so many 'Palestinians' their country was overwhelmed by Islamist zombie violence and is now an Islamic state at the cost of 250,000 lives. The irony is that, as you suggest, if any of them were to look closer at their ancestors they may find they were forcibly converted Jews. Perhaps that's why the Arabs are so cruel to them, they know they're Jews.

I am not aware of masses of Jews in the Levant adopting islam by force or otherwise. I suppose some did and I have seen a vid about that although rather sceptical. In the ME, Jews tended to just go into Diaspora when persecuted rather than convert. Europe was a different story especially after WWII. Many remaining Jews forgot their roots, intermarried etc.

I mean so many people are totally unaware that they have Jewish blood and so many are making an effort to determine if or not they have Jewish heritage. And many are finding out the truth.
