Still my favourite coke plant. I spent several nights at the gate to take photographs and got an invitation to visit the plant by the technical manager a few years ago. An unforgettable visit! Thanks to everyone working there!

i worked at the newcastle coke ovens in australia from 90 to 99 when it closed...

We had one battery of Gibbons Willput ovens and the other was Woodhall Duckham.
