it doesnt matter wheher he writes his other songs the fact stands that HE "as a musical artist" was so lost in his songwriting that he had to steal the scores from another frankly fantastic peice of work.

and when it comes to music i beleive a proffesor in music is more likely to know about musical taste than a 17 year old in secondary school, and also the academy DOES have high standards in music so this peice of music certainly ISNT on our level.
