jeep gr cherokees do great in crashes. me n my mom were in one. and we hit a car and got hit sideways my a small semi, and it spun the jeep all around. and all i had was wip lash. but still an acident like that is lucky to be allive. good thing i didnt sit in back though.

I have this car in the 3.0 mercedes diesel imported by chrysler from mercedes. I was on a single carriageway doing 110kmh at night and a trucker veered and plowed into me head on, i had whiplash and a broken arm, but this car saved my life and i was able to walk away, this is one of the safest toughest suv's on the market, its built like a tank.

idk bout that. i was in a reck 2x and it didnt even bother me. it depends on ur size an wear it hits you. it hit me in the chest. wear its suppose to hit you. but my friend in passenger seat is short, an she was hit in the face but just had a bloody nose. they really dont hurt. i have a hard time believen that 40%.. but me n my friend are just 2 people of that 40% maybe ur right, but its hard to believe.

My friend has this exact SUV, it is horrible. Everytime he drives down the highway the oil overheats and he has to stop for like 40 minutes and let it cool off. Otherwise it is a good truck.
