Great video ! I have been watching this and the Decorah Family...and am so thankful to have been a part of both :) Tears of joy for these sweet baies...fly free forever :) Thanks Doug & Sheila for making this happen !
This is the first eagle nest I have watched. An amazing adventure to watch the Hornby nest from the eggs being laid to the fledging and everything in between. I really miss seeing them. Mom and Dad are such wonderful attentive parents. I miss Alexandra being pushy and David's tantrums. Hope they have a very long and safe life. Thank you Hornby's for making me smile as I watched you live in the wild. I will never forget this experience. Thank Doug and Sheila Carrick for sharing this with us.
The Creator's thumbprint can be found everywhere......especially in the life of a Bald Eagle. I never thought I'd ever hear an eagle breathing.....huffing.....heard after the male brings in the branch. Wonderful!
I really love these montages you're putting together. They'll stand as long term memories of the families we've visited with, and the kids we've watched hatch and grow up. Well done, Sir!
My first year watching this nest. Loved it. I so miss getting up every morning to check on their daily progress. So pleased to see that they have succesfully fledged. I wish Alexandra and David a long life. I hope they find mates and continue the circle. I also hope that Ma and Pa continue to raise more eaglets in the future whether we have the privlege to see them or not.
Thank you, Doug & Sheila also you Cali for putting this tribute together.
Here I am crying again .... may you, Alex and David be granted a long life, may you reign the skies....thank you for all the love you made me feel in my heart, all the tenderness you elicited, I LOVE YOU FOREVER, ALEX AND DAVID.
May the wind be beneath your wngs, may you have pleanty to eat and be safe. We loved you from the time you were an egg, this video is making me cry to watch. So hard to let you go. But go you must, we loved you so much, What a character David was, and to see them snuggle together with beak to beak welll no words will ever say how cute that was, love? do eagles love?? They love more than most people love...

Thank you for sharing your time and energy and $ so as to allow me to share, too.
