Slimkim86- I'm with you 100%.. I, too stopped watching in "90 when they cut Duke out. I was deeply hurt when Anna lost the baby....I think Robert should have had to contend with a Lavery child....What are the writers thinking...do they watch what they write? Can't they see the affect these relationships are having on everyone....THEY ARE HEARTLESS.
That dream was very touching. A little Duke and Anna. The writers had really screwed over Duke and Anna's fate. They could've at least allowed her to have the baby. The Lavery legacy would've continued. Thus, I have not viewed GH on a consistent basis since Duke "died" in '90. I don't care what anyone says..I think Duke is still alive ( as Ian).
I endorse your question 100 percent! What passes for conversation on GH in recent years--if one can call it that--has become hyper-confrontational and downright nasty, even between characters with close (family romantic, or friend) relationships....
That is the realist husband and wife team ever, besides Lila and Ed Quartermaine they had real love. Duke and Anna rocked this scene.
