@mancity1000 As I remember, long ago, Brezhnev received a black 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo 454 SS as a thank you from GM for some big contract. Brezhnev could be seen driving like a maniac around Moscow in that car. A 1970 Monte Carlo 454 SS was a bad ass car in its day.

Yes, a true event that happened. Nixon had to change his shorts after that ride, I would bet. The General Secretary of the USSR unexpectedly took off in the Lincoln Continental from Camp David with Dick Nixon riding shotgun; causing the KGB&Secret Serivice guys into a panic. Brezhnev was an excellent driver (known fact) getting them back safe & sound. Lesson learned: Be careful who you throw the car keys to. Great film, THE FINAL DAYS; seriously worth a viewing for those into history. Peace.
