driving across the Bay Bridge on Saturday morning on our way to one of my mother's dance classes or rehearsal, but before we jump on I-80, we gotta make a quick stop at the Berkeley Co-Op to get a 1/2 a rotissierie chicken, some wheat berry bread and some unstrained apple cider - living the life of black hippies - and it was GROOOVY Baby, ya dig!!!!
with the changing times are youth are deprived of alot. not only the quality of music but.......the joy of going to the record store talking with people who share the same intrest, and the art of some of the album covers! ohio players, mandrill, marvin. i was a young buck in the 70s, man i wish i was 23 and had a car in 75. i cant imagine the fun of a friday night not worrying about gettin shot or dumb shit
ONE OF THE BEST CONTEMPORARY JAZZ(not that stupid smooth-jazz moniker!) SONGS EVER BY ONE OF THE BEST JAZZ GROUPS EVER! ALL THE PLAYERS WERE STARS IN THEIR OWN RIGHT! WERE WE EVER THAT YOUNG?
i remember when this came out i was working at the neighborhood record shop, with the speakers out side so everyone could hear the music. yes indeed back in the day!!!
I was 18 i cant tell you how many times i played this track back in the days introduced it to my daughter she loves it these tunes never get old ,,,Big Tuneeee
