the last part was why did the analysts bail him out by saying they had bad receivers who WERE drafted (doesn't matter if they were cut or not, they were drafted) before more notable receivers like those i listed. if you got receivers that were drafted then your receiver core shouldn't be that bad and from what i've read about him, the best status he got was JUST a 2nd team all mtn. west selection. so in general, IMO, those 3 selected from SDSU were overrated.

So you're really trying to say that O'Connell is overrated because 2 of his receivers were drafted, but Hawaii's, 1 of Bama's and 1 of TxTech's weren't? None of those receivers were very good. IMO, if he had stats that paled in comparisons to other qbs that year while playing against no name teams (mountain west last year was pretty much no names. this year, BYU, TCU and Utah is on the rise and BYU and Utah are on the verge of running the BCS table.) then i don't know how he got THIS much critical acclaim. i guess scouts see something that i don't.
