  • When will you put up another vid? Can I use the lock pomade and then air dry or do I need to go under the dryer?

  • I loved the music on this video, very relaxing. Her locs are BEAUTIFUL...and so are yours! Thanks for sharing your products with us!

  • Hi, I have heard great things about your products, but really bad reviews about customer service and that finding your products is extremely hard. Do something!

  • Hey! ive had my hair twisted for about 3 months now. I want my parts to be more visble as seen in this video. Is there a way to reestablish parts without having to start over?? inbox me your email and ill send you photos of my hair so you can give me proper feedback....THANK YOU :-)

  • @bishop3 I have seen some natural stylist use a rattail comb and define the parts. I don't do it, but if you want very clean parts you can go that route. I usuall just use my finger to seperate the hair. You can send the photo via youtube email.

  • You know what I love about this video? At the end, you can tell that the customer is really happy with how her hair looks. That is so cute!

  • Hi Kim,

How long under the dryer for the hot oil treatment?

  • @ooladinn The hot oil treatment is left in the locs. You don't have to rinse it out. The hair oil doesn't leave the hair over oily after the treatment.

  • @ooladinn The hot oil treatment is left in the locs. You don't have to rinse it out. The hair oil doesn't leave the hair over oily after the treatment. You can sit under the steamer or dryer 15 minutes for normal hair or for a deep treatment for damage hair or colored hair. You can do 30 minutes.

  • Great vids! Does one rinse (or shampoo) the hair again after the hot oil treatment? Also, I have colortreated Sisterlocks that are a bit on the dry side. Would your products work well with SL's? Thanks much and best...

  • @loisdjd45 No that hot oil is left in the locs or hair. These products are made especially in mind for locs (blue bottles) and natural hair (brown bottles). It will work well with regular locs and sister/brother locs.

  • Do your products made for natural hair work for transitioning hair also?

  • @IncreasePeace12 Yes the best thing for you to use is the Liquid vitamins. It is great to keep hair from tangles. Use the brown line Natural Hair Liquid Vitamins. The more your hair grows out the more it will tangle. Don't forget to comb from the ends and work your way up to the roots. The natural hair shampoos also will be good they have built in conditioners.

  • when you wrap your finger around the lose hairs that might be sticking out?does it make the hair smoother?i had my locs for a year and half, and i am having trouble learning how to twist it the right way so that it could stay.and i cannot afford a loctitian or beauty shop,i just need some tips so that i can do this myself and save some money.any suggetions?

  • @lorianne19 This locing method work very well with frizzzy hair. The hair is very smooth and it will allow the loose hair around the roots to loc back with the locs. Follow the video and you will get it. Don't forget the product use also counts

  • Do you ship to Egypt?

  • @rejectedidentity Yes we ship all around the world. :)

  • Her hair looks gorgeous!!! Excellent job!!!!

  • how long does it normally take for locs to lock? i started mine in january..and i'm close to locing but my loctician says that because my hair is so soft it will take longer than it normally would..i love my locs, but i just wanted to inquire...:o)

  • @missjack15 It take normally 4-6 months, but with softer hair it will take 8-12 months. So hang in there! It will be worth it

  • i have loc extensions.... can i still use your products on my locs?

  • @felicial1356 Yes you can use the products on loc extension. All of the loc models in my videos has loc extensions in that I started their locs with. So yes you can use them with no problems.

  • I LOVE THIS!!

  • Thank You this is the best video I have found for re-locking, please keep up the good work.

  • Is there a list of hair salons that use your products and does your technique work for small mircro locs?

  • i dono what it is but every time i go in to get my locks done, as soon as they start shampooing, i fall asleep lol, they gota wake me up when they done washing my hair cuz i be knocked out.

  • These r the best products for dreads hands down, n trust me i hv tried them all. I work out a lot n the pomade holds even w all the sweating n does not get mushy like the gel does. It's light on the hair n does not weigh it down. The shampoo, i use mint medley, is great. only thing is it takes a while to get the products but i will not use anything else on my locs. U guys did a wonderful job makn these products. I intend to get the natural hair line products for my dtr.

  • Hi Kim,

Can I get your product in Jamaica. I realize that you guys lock the hair differently from us here in Jamaica, here they use a locking needle.

  • MORE! MORE! MORE! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I ordered the shampoo and the permade for locs. This video made me buy your products, so please make more videos. I learned how to twist my locs seeing your video. Can't wait to get my stuff. MORE VIDEOS PLEASE!!!! LOVIN' IT.

  • Her hair looks so soft!

    Shalom & Blessings!

  • she's not only a good loctitian, she's fine too!

  • wow! i love your technique.

  • you can get a steamer from ebay

  • I like your technique for twisting the roots. I wish I seen this vid, before I cut off my locs. lol!!

Her hair came out very nice and neat.

  • wonderful vid. i am relativley new to locs and this helps a lot thanks :)

  • Are these products available in the UK? I'm having a real problem finding a product that does not leave build up or flakes and gives some kind of moisture and shine to my locs. So much so its making me consider taking them down although i dont want to. You stated you dont condition, any particular reason? Some say it loosens the locs but i find it keeps mine soft.

  • We don't have it in stores in the UK, but we do ship to almost every where around the globe. I don' t like using heavy based products in locs. Creamy conditioners are made mainly to soften an detangle. Sometimes those conditioners can leave build up in the locs. Hair oil and liquid leave conditioner are better, because they can go into the core of the locs easily, but it can be easily rinsed. This prevents build up. The are excllent to add moisture.

  • Thanks i'll check the net for your site. I do condition with every wash and usually use a liquid one but recently tried a watered down shea butter product. My hair came out lovely but i know it will eventually cause b/u so i stop using it. I have a professional steamer at home, is steaming good for the locs too?

  • One more question - I have recently started the process with TSTs (in January 09). When do you think I could begin to apply the oil treatments? I have some bonding but, of course, they are not fully loc'd yet. Thanks.

  • These are wonderfully executed videos and I will look into your products. Thank you for sharing. One question. Can you say how this model has maintained her locks over time. PR always or some latching, etc? Thank you.

  • Normally you don't have to do much, but some of my clients will use the pomade around the front hairline. This will give the appearance of your locs looking neat even though it may need a wash and twist. No latching is done.

  • You can start now. It should affect the process. It will help for the hair to stay condition and moist.

  • nice product are you going to be at the natural hair show in Atlanta I would love to try your products? I will be there.

  • what brand steamer are u using there... I have been looking for a good brand!!!

  • I don't buy a certain brand you can just look it up on the internet search engin for a hair steamer.
