  • @AhmaAhpa1 The pattern book '10 Minute Blocks' is available on the Design Originals website as well as amazon, many of your local quilt shops carry them as well.

  • @missvisi You are most welcome, I do have some other youtube videos for quilting...and books, no videos at this time.

  • very nice video

  • woah! I'm going to have to try this!! I'm in Quilting in 4-H this year, this will really come in handy!

  • @0SabrinaTheAwesome0 It will, you can share it with others and be the star quilter!

  • That's cool! I love fast blocks, but most of the time they are very wasteful (involve cutting off a lot of fabric). This one doesn't waste anything- I like it.

  • @RoozleRay I love fast blocks too, you're so right ...no waste is a a real plus!

  • I love theese techniques But where can I find the Books I don't have any local quilt shops

  • @jabonra The books are online at the Design Originals website, just google Design Originals. Amazon also carries some of the books. Thanks for your interest.

  • MOst of the videos hav complicated templates and designs......But ur video ...wow....amazing simple designs & technique....i am totally new to this concept. thank u soo much for sharing....!!!!

  • @ChitraJo Not complicated at all! Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it.

  • Ok so that means 10" by 10" a perfect square?

  • @pugluverr yes, a perfect square.

  • How big are the squares for these blocks?

  • @pugluverr Most of the quilts I make with this process are 10" squares. That is because I use the Layer Cake Collection of squares from Moda Fabrics. I also use the 5" squares from their Charm Collection. As long as all the blocks are the same size they can be any measurement. Happy quilting!

  • I literally said "WOW" out loud. haha. I'm a beginner and TOTALLY appreciate the tips. I can't wait to try this out!

  • @BrooklynNaomee thank you, I love that...it's a pretty WOW technique! Hope it makes quilting a breeze for you.

  • Thanks for letting me know, I love this technique too...glad you were successful with it..and your first time! That's great.

  • My first quilt used the 10-minute block idea with layer cake fabric. Turned out beautifully for a first effort! Thank you Suzanne.

  • You're welcome.....hope your efforts went well.

  • You're welcome, thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it.

  • thanks so much for sharing

  • Pam, I have not made any of the name tags for quilts, I did do a search on google...there are a few sites which might be helpful to you. My motto...when all else fails "google it"

  • I'm trying to find some instructions for making quilted name tags for my quilts.

    An suggestions???

    Thanks,

    Pam Hanrahan

  • Outstanding Idea! Thank you so much for sharing this technique, Suzanne. I am anxious to give it a try. I am just a beginner when it comes to quilting and this looks like something that, as you said, anyone could do. Super! Hugs, Suzy

  • We luvit too! You will never have to suffer through cold weather again....a quilt will always be within an arms reach.

  • I know how I am going to spend my friday nights for the next several months. Pumping out quilts in an hour... LUVIT!
