Too bad I never know about this reunion, I was on the show in 1972, I called CHCH a couple of years ago asking if they still had the videos, but they said I was too late, they had erased all the tapes. Wondering if anyone has any copies out there?
this is the horrible reason i HATE the 70's i hate hippies i hate it ,man,i hate it ssooooooo much. hilarious house was the ONLY half decent show as a kid.
and even that sucked. i hate tv now. bugs bunny rules now cause i watch it on yoube.
I used to sweat alongside the contestants as I watched it on TV. It was so embarrassingly real, and I was in the same age group. To this day, whenever I see some no-talent person on TV or even in concert, I get the "watching Tiny Talent Time" heebie-jeebies.
I was on Tiny Talent Time Apr 24, 1960. I have the audio of it. Back then they gave each of us the audio recording on an LP. Each child got their own.
Hi! I need to find the footage of Sacha Williamson performing "Karma Chameleon" by Culture Club in the 80s on Tiny Talent Time. If anyone has it or knows someone who might PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!
I am 99% positive I remember seeing a young blind boy who played the guitar lying flat across his lap, and being totally amazed. Years later when I saw Jeff Healey's band I realized it could only have been him back then! Nobody else played guitar like that! I would love to see that old footage, because people are telling me I'm crazy, but I'm sure I remembered it like that!
Closing theme lyrics..."This is the end of our show. We are sorry that we have to go! mmmmmmm(humming) mmmmmmm, All the cameras lights and microphones will be set for tiny talent to shine. So won't you watch for our return again, on our next Tiny Talent Time!"
Opening theme lyrics..."here is a show that is big, for those of you who are small. So watch right now and you will see, a show we know will please you all! All the cameras lights and microphones, are set for tiny talent to shine. So, Bill Lawrence won't you introduce us please, to the guests on Tiny Talent Time?"
Thanks for posting this.I grew up in western n.y. I watched that show every week. The ending song is ingrained in my head.Sure brings back some great memories.
My grandmother was a seamstress, who made many, many costumes for kids who appeared on Tiny Talent Time... maybe even some of the costumes you see in this video. Thanks for sharing!
The year would have been 1971 and 1972 I believe and it was the Grimsby Cub choir. So a group of boys singing in cub uniforms from Grimsby. I got to say "We will be right back don't go away" before it broke to commercial.
I have a couple of shows from 1967 and 1990, that's all. CHCH said they were all gone, and then I was able to get those previous shows from CHCH. If there anymore left, I am not aware of them. Sorry.
Thanks for sharing and letting me know. That little bit of original tape that was at the reunion is there any where it can be viewed or accessed to see if my clip is on it?
Why on earth did they erase all of the tapes?!?
