Basically you're saying rock band was a bad idea because it was innovative (although it wasn't, all it did was add all the music periphials for one game). I mean GH didn't think of that till what almost a full year after the first Rockband was released? Also seems that Harmonix and MTV games spends quite a bit of time making sure their product is of a better quality If you want proof, look at their on going support for RB/RB2 and Activisions for GH3.

I wasn't explictly talking about the game itself, yes the first RB had it flaws but atleast the makers of it continued to support the title with DLC week after week, where GH3 support just kind of died after 3 weeks. Also Sales aren't what I judge games on. There are many great games which barely no-one knows about, just because a game doesn't have the budget of 10 mil or something doesn't mean it won't be good.

That's not a suitable excuse. It's a given that indeed it is a game company, so is Konami. However they do have artists that they bring on for projects and what not. Akira Yamaoka for instance made many a song for DDR... as did many other artists make an remix music.

Asaki from guitar freaks, has become famous because of it. To my knowledge I've never seen any other music he has done save on there... and it's rather good *you should check him out actually. * ... typing limitations suck...
