ya the drz-400s or sm are both great starter bikes, actually they're great for anyone. kinda underpowered for their weight compared to similar cc bikes. But they are NO JOKE BULLET PROOF and so reliable. I love my dr-z400s I think I'll have this bike for along time to come.

dude useing the right amount of front break and nice clutch control u get the front wheel to slip o nthe road surface and the more u let the clutch out the faster the tryer will spin and use the front break to control your speed

watch his body position, his body is at the front so his own bodyweight is kinda holding the frontwheel down, still get someone who can explain the whole technique properly or even show it to you live it's hard to achieve this just from watching and reading

I have a DRZ and I am also 1.70m...5ft7in...you can get lowering links which brings the seat hieght down by a couple of inches (50cm)and then it depends on how soft or hard you set the suspension and on your weight...I am quite heavy 16 stone(not sure what that is in pounds or kilos)and have my suspension set quite hard and I have the lowering links and I can just touch the ground on tip toes on each side...its best not to stop...but if you are an experienced rider you will cope
