  • It's true, you couldn't hear him sing.

  • Elvis has no equal in the history of this planet in the field he dominated , that of music and sex symbol and matinee idol. Elvis invented himself and the world will always try to imitate him as long as mankind exists. He was the culmination of unapproachable perfection , they'll never be another one.

  • looking back on it now elvis should not have done the sinatra specail.bad call by the col.

  • @myfriendangel1 why is that?

  • @lizrose57 oh i think the kids wanted the rocker elvis now dont get me wrong elvis is the best no matter what . but 3 yrs later those guys came from england with upbeat songs and here was elvis fresh n the memories of people n a tux singing fame and fortune now hanging with sinatra, and n movies singing loves songs .if i would have been the col. he would have been on sullivan again and rocked then put him in some serious movies mixed in with the others ,and put out a mix of rock and love songs.

  • A normal person with a bit knowledge in music, can only say: Elvis was one of the greates maybe the greatest Rock´n Roll singer ever. And those guys who want to try to be a Rock´n Roll singer are only clowns who want to be someone - not more.

  • His looks always changed

  • 0:35.

    Elvis's mate, clearly

  • LONG LIVE THE KING. Happy 77th Birthday today Elvis !

  • The look ,the voice the charisma....It was like it was meant to be.....i mean can you imagine Elvis turning up to your house as an electrician ???

  • 1:41 if he had his own line of sunglasses, I swear they would've been sold out...

    Lol, milk a cow...

  • Live from?

  • The difference between Elvis and everyone else is that Elvis was an innate musical genius. He had more natural rhythm and feel than anyone ever.

  • @MarkRogersTV With the possible exception of Mozart!

  • Johnny Cash was a musical genius too, because he crossed all musical boundaries (Country, Rock N Roll, Pop, Blues, Gospel) successfully and made whatever he sang his own. Everyone from Head bangers, to rappers, to Country folk, to Rockabilly cats love Johnny Cash.

  • Who's the blonde at 2:31?

  • When I hear him, I realise that nobody can replace his magnificience.Such a man.Such a fool.I will always love this man.

  • ther was no one like him before and there willbe ever again

    spadge1946

  • You told me how to milk a cow...:)

  • @MrRazorblade999 Well spotted, never heard that before... lol

  • @sebastianmontagnard LOL it's been available since 1980, and on CD since 1997

  • @simsimma2708 thats not his real one

  • Sounds like he played in an amusement park, as there is rollercoaster nearby ;)

  • @simsimma2708 HE SURE WAS A FINE LOOKING YOUNG MAN.

  • mj sucked elvis is the king!!

  • I like where he changes the lyrics to "You taught me how to milk a cow" after the guitar solo! :-)

  • who wouldn't want to be elvis?

  • Whenever Elvis remade a song it nearly always made it to the top 10 and turned out to be the version everyone remembers best. Long live the king!

  • Good job on the pictures

  • @willpn100

    You are an ASS-HOLE.

    10-20-11

  • Nice group of photos, some I've never seen,,,

  • last i heard Jesus is the king. maybe i was mis informed. but Priscilla said elvis raped her and we know he cheated on her

  • @MultiRushfan THATS BOLLOCKS.Elvis never raped cilla.and cilla cheated on elvis with mike stone. and elvis himself said many times,"jesus is the king,im just an entertainer" if you dislike elvis so much, why do u watch so many of his videos??

  • @MultiRushfan well..leave it up to someone from the USA to make a big mistake. Heaven forbid.

You are so totally wroing...get your fact straight.

  • Elvis the king forever.

  • No one compares to his voice, look, charisma, charme and talent !!!!!!!

R.I.P. ! You're in our hearts and we will never forget you ! I adore you for the rest of my life and you are my only true king !!!!!!!!!!!

  • And a photo of two greats; Elvis and Jackie Wilson

  • He opened the gate and we followed him

  • I have never heard this version before, "Milk a cow" omg! Love it.

  • Brilliant Montage

    Thanks

  • Thanks a million for posting,

Never heard this recording before so that was interesting.

I loved your montage, and there were several shots i had not seen before.

This is one of my very top elvis songs, the hank snow original is worth a listen by the way.

Heavens, was elvis not insanely good looking, was his voice not breathtaking in its versitility and depth.

He had star quality by the truck load!

Yet, even now all those years later my questions remains the same?

Why did it end so badly

  • Crowds of squealing fangirls? If that isn't a surefire sign of Elvis Presley, I don't know what is.

  • Fools are those who hears Elvis all the time

  • Comment removed

  • ELVIS!!!! will live FOREVER!!!

  • Elvis only sang for hysterical girls. This video proves it.

  • i always love the screaming girls... i can hear that others feel how i feel :)

  • You thought me how to milk a cow LOL EPIC THE KING FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • The term perfect = Elvis Presly

  • Comment removed

  • 0:53.. so beautiful. love the army pictures, although it was such a sad time for him with his mom and all...god i wish he was still alive :(

  • A great performer no doubt, but its funny how MOST of these singers ,who sing about true love , sentiments all those fine thoughts...usually turn out to be creeps or pathetic husbands or lovers in real life..... HMMMMMM.

  • Thanks for putting up Elvis fabulous version of this song!

  • This is the 1st Elvis recording where Elvis isnt heard first. There will never ever be another like him, saw him at MSG in 1972, all 4 shows , freakin FANTASTIC.

  • the girls scream everytime he looks at em, crazy

  • @subimeyouthBJJ seen the same reaction to a fella in canada,,,me and my nana went nuts,,,hes gonna be huge,,see andy probyn,,unbreakable heart,,,,

  • Great song - great photos (thanx) - but all show the regrettable decline of the greatest Rock'n Roll interpret of all times - my beloved ELVIS !

  • amazing<3 the greatest ever, the one and only king, love u always elvis.

  • the greatest male performer of all time

  • I have nothing bad to say about Hank Snow.Elvis and Hank Snow are great singers.People should never say stupid things about Hank Snow.

  • Comment removed

  • The only reason Elvis did this song, not a word of a lie, is 'cause it's a "thank you" to Hank Snow (who did this song prior) for introducing him at the Grand Ole Opry. If it wasn't for Hank Snow, he probably wouldn't've been've discovered so early...

  • @Ian74263 This a Hawaii 61..the whole show is on my channel.

  • Elvis reigns supreme, always has always will.

  • The studio version is way better.

  • ONEwhitie2ANOTHER .... i personally enjoy live interaction...both are good tho.

  • Elvis's come and Elvis's go, but the real KING ELVIS will always be here.

  • EL for ever!

  • .thanks for posting,.nice work,

    .great pics,.thanks for sharing,......thanks!!!!

    Rob

  • This was for the USS Arizona War Memorial in Hawaii...Thank U Elvis....and remember JAPS SUCK

  • @sunrecords56 Evidently, the JAPS don't think ELVIS suck.

  • @donn409 read what i said...or did you fail americam History

  • @donn409 read what i said...or did you fail americam History they Killed and wounded 1000's of americans on a Sunday Morning with no provacation. Elvis did his part to raise funds to build the memorial.

  • @sunrecords56 I read what you wrote. I'm just saying that the Japanese have been big ELVIS supporters for years. ELVIS did raise money to have the memorial built but he also had forgiveness in his heart and didn't judge all Japanese for what a few did.

  • @donn409 it was a little more then a few it was the whole country and they had to be bombed(twice) into submission. does that sound like a few. Watch the history channel and learn. will make you cry.

  • @sunrecords56 Let me ask you a question. Have you heard of the murder of Native Americans by the U.S. government? It's in the history books to and the U.S. government has never apologized about it. I'm not arguing with you about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. It was a terrible crime but all countries have committed attrocities against other countries. The U.S. is no exception.

  • @donn409 you are 100 percent correct. only this was un-provoked and a Sneak Attack when they new men would be in their bunks attending services might have not gone over as well with fair warning. i'm sorry but it will never be over.

  • Such a shame that this concert performance was not recorded on better quality equipment. Elvis never sounded better live, his voice was at its zenith. He could sing anything. Had a class musicians backing him plus the great Jordanaires.

  • Hank Snow original version much better!

  • @wookyhollow I like Hank Snow ....but brother his version doesnt compare to the King.....not in my opinion

  • God Bless his work for the Money Raised for the Arizona War Memorial at Pearl Harbor. Japan should have paid the Bill

  • @sunrecords56 I visited Pearl Harbor and the Arizona in 2008. It was a very emotional experience, so eerie. I knew at the time that Elvis had raised the money for the MEMORIAL that is there today Just for thought, I was watching a musical with James Cagney singing "OVER THERE, OVER THERE' WE WON'T BE HOME TILL WE'RE FINISHED OVER THERE. Leonard Cohen got a medal from Roosevelt. We should be singing that song today to support the troops over there!!!

  • I enjoyed listening. Thank you.

  • Such an amazing person,I'd bet Jesus would have loved him also....

  • Great! Thanks for posting anna8elvis!

  • I Love Elvis Music and I was only 9yrs old when he died.

  • One of the few photos with Elvis's "real" hair color (brown) at 0:55 !!!!

  • ANyone have the live version?

  • @laurajdahl I have this live version it's from Hawaii 61,you can rip the whole show from my channel.

  • Rodney Crowell wrote this.

  • @midlynn: Written by Bill Trader and Recorded in 1958

Rodney Crowell (born August 7, 1950) so I think he'd be a little young to write this song. It would be nice though if he did at 8 years old?

  • @Ryansmomdeb You are so correct. Rodney recorded it and sang it on one of his "hits" cd's. I just assumed he wrote it. Thanks for correcting me.

  • I'm glad when people recognize other talented singers-- Hank Snow certainly is one of the greats, along with many others-- Nobody can compare to Hanks "I've Been Everywhere".. But of course Elvis is the BEST EVER !! Thats why he is THE KING !

Who else could sing "One Night With You" and have your girlfriend "melt" in your arms-- ah, memories, sweet memories---

  • Wow and O>M>G> how much would I have loved to be there!!

  • What shame a film/record could not have been made of this event.

  • he was sad you can tell

  • mucis!!!

  • Written by Tommy Edwards...............All in the game

  • @markyboy1704 ...Tommy Edwards was one of several artists who recorded this song, but the writer was William "Bill" Trader. It was published in 1952. The next year ('53) Country singer Hank Snow had a huge hit with it, on the Country music charts. Elvis's version came about 1958, bringing it to pop / rock audiences.

  • Thank you for putting your video up and sharing it with us.I love it. is this a rare recording?

  • Uhh, what a pitty this concert is not to be found in better sound.....

  • @ELVISIA

The electric kept going off during the concert.

  • KRÁSNÁ :))

  • this is taken from the pearl harbour benefit show 1961....

  • at 1:50.... Still wondering, who let this guy on a stage.

  • haha your right, at 1:50 it sounds like the bass singer is belching.

oh well elvis is still great!

  • Comment removed

  • I love this !!

Who ever was alive when he was, Is so lucky ! I cant even amagine what it was like to be alive when he brought all that great music out !! I can only dream :'(♥

I love you Elvis !! Im saying up to go there for my 16th birthday next year :D xx

  • I wish there was a recording of the two live Memphis concerts he gave just before this. In particular it would be interesting to hear those concerts because he sang "Treat Me Nice" live on stage then but never again. *sigh*

  • wow

  • Great montage -especially like his Army shots. As I former soldier ( British Airborne) I always resepcted Elvis for just getting on with his National Service, no whining, no asking for special privileges, just pulling straight duty in an armoured unit. I often wonder if it was a relief to him, to be as "normal" as it was possible to be. On manoevres no one would care who he was, you have to pul your weight

  • @Jigaboo123456 lol frickin' HARD at ""no special privileges" for elvis in the army. hahahahaha. or did all the g.i.s get pills and whores ?

  • @septicmedia I imagine most Gi's got whore--they usually do!

As for the pills, many armies actually gave "speed" to troops to improve peformance when the had little rations of rest, but usually for ops, noty traning. The first amphetamine, Benzidrine, was developed specifically for German fallshirchmirjager,as airborne ops were designed to last only few days.

French, German, italian and Japanese armies all had field brothels, but uptight Brits and Yanks didn't!

  • @Jigaboo123456 Yeah I know Elvis wanted to be treated normal and the military was probably the closest he ever got to it. I still think he got some preferential treatment as in he never would have seen combat.

But you look at the kid who went into the army. Looks like a boy getting his head shaved and then the difference it made in him when he came out. I shudder to think what he could have done with intelligent management and not Col. Parker. A legacy even greater than what he has now?

  • @DragonChaserKev

Hi- Pretty much agree with everything you say here, but for the "he would never have seen combat". If those T-54's rolled West- and that was areal possibility throughout the cold war, especially during Elvis's tour of duty, nobody would have given a damn about his ability to do anything other than drive, load of aim and fire!

Actors Clark Gable (air gunner) and , Jimmy Stewart were operational as an B-19 pilot- -Wiki him, his service was outstanding.

  • anna--you so obviously so know your elvis stuff--great montage--and--hi

  • Elvis was really a great singer.

  • tho a fool such as i is a close 2nd--the best song by the king has to be--are you lonesome tonight

  • @MikeConnelly1 that is one of my absolute favorites-although i could never narrow it down to one, thats on my top 5

  • this was the last live concert intrestingly enough before he started preforming live again in 1969

  • "you taught me how..to milk a cow..."

LOL. Didn't see that one coming! funny E.

  • haha this is great! i have this concert on CD,Elvis sounds great,to bad he didnt do too many shows in the early 60s

  • Comment removed

  • frigging awesome photo montage--and the 2nd best song by the king--thank you so much

  • Do you mind me asking which song you think is the best then? ...

  • DUDE! really? this is about elvis NOT! m.j jeez do you see the name m.j any where on this page except for the comments? i think not so stop talking about m.j its about elvis

  • Some good pics. Some I haven't seen before.

  • Reply all you want....it don't change facts!!!!! mj was a pedo penis licking homo!!!!! Bwahahahahahahahaha......he he ...ha ha. He is also your fantasy. You wanted him to suck your little toddler penis too.

  • Ahhh i love the picture of Sammy Davis Jr and Elvis, great picture. And i adore this song, thanks for putting it up!

  • Hank Snow is good, but sorry to say Elvis has more style and panache

  • Jees, i'm a massive Michael fan, like massive, but there's no need to say that about Elvis they were both equally good musicians, they both changed music and the industry, they were both GORGEOUS and they were both incredibley generous. Just don't be so mean. Plus, you do know Michael didn't like people referring to him as 'God' because even though he dropped out of the Jahova Witness religion, it is a very big sin for Michael for you to use his name over Jahova's. Just saying. ;)

  • Sorry you got that wrong - MJ is a QUEEN!

There has only been one KING - ELVIS. And I guess you r 2 young or silly to know of Hank Snow either - your loss pal. We know better....

  • LOL the only one who sucked is MJ....as in toddler penis. You know it and if you still like him then you suck it too. Did you see MJ in that movie "Planet of the Apes?" He played the female ape who like Wahlberg. Only thing is in that movie he looked more human than normal. Check it out. Oh yeah on more thing....MJ had his nose changed to look like a toddler penis since the courts made him leave toddler penis alone. He wanted to give new meaning to blowing your nose. Now ur educated!!

  • Would you shut up about toddler penis!!!!!! That is your fixation!!! Leave MJ alone!!!!! Just because you can't recognize his greatness, it is no reason to attack him and go on about your disgusting fixation!!!

  • Yep my fixation is telling everyone about MJ and his toddler penis fixation. You must like it too. He attacked young boys so my guess is he is just about ripe for an attack....or you might call it a dose of truth. Mr. Pedo lover. At least he got his acting debut on Planet of the Apes before he croaked.

  • U used a bad word...now I am skeerd. MJ wanted to be white and that is why he bleached his skin. You are just a toddler penis sucking wannabe, trailer park dweller. Yeah....we got your number. Mj was just a homo toddler penis sucking ass. They should have just threw him out in the woods when he croaked. Buzzards have got to eat, same as worms. Good thing is he is dead and the world is still throwing a party because young boys are safe again.

  • Anything else you wanna bring out of your sack of stupid you carry around? You are so cute when you get your panties in a wad when someone pegs you for what you are. That is a pedo loving homo pee pee licker. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaahahahahahahahahahahahah heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh!!!

  • Chill.

  • mj was just a faggot. Nothing more, nothing less. He just sucked the wrong penis and got caught at it. Kids always tell the truth. Ding dong the goofball is dead....the goofball is dead....the goofball is dead.....ding dong the goofball is dead!!! Now if the rest of those circus side show reject jacksons croaked we would be in high cotton.

  • I might watch Hee Haw, have a TA up on blocks, chew Red Man, have cousins who are married to each other, married my wife when she was 13 or anything else you can think of. I might be the biggest cracker redneck the world has ever seen. BUT ONE THING THAT IS A CONSTANT...mj WAS A TODDLER PENIS LICKING HOMO WHO WANTED TO BE WHITE. mj WAS AN APE WITH A TODDLER PENIS NOSE SO HE COULD BLOW IT. mj WAS A GOOFBALL BABY CRACK LICKER AND NOTHING BUT NOTHING THAT I AM IS GONNA CHANGE THOSE FACTS, SKIPPY.

  • @cheekyjoe2468 as much as i love elvis, as usual, the original, by far, surpasses. watch 'the last picture show'.

  • @cheekyjoe2468 Concordo!!!!! Elvis é o melhor!!!

  • dylan has the best version

  • Dylan can't sing, can't dance, is ugly and wrote super-shitty songs!!!! He had as much rythem as an epileptic.

  • And 1m04

  • At 30secs is from one of the 3 shows Elvis did in 61, 2 in Hawaii and 1 in Memphis.

  • Great music.

  • I have the whole show on D its from Hawaii 61

  • CD that is.

  • "you told me how, to milk a cow..." :-) :-)

    funny, talented, unique and gorgeous...

    The one. The King.

thank you anna8elvis for this great vid. *****

    love it !

  • Thankyou epmelodygirl. for answering my comment about Elvis & the movies he didn't want to do. I loved whatever he did, I was just sorry he wanted to do other things,& according to what we were hearing at the time. he did have to do those early movies , i am glad he did, as long as he was singing it was sure ok, by me,,, I knew Ann Margret ,but not about the connection between them,so thanks again.

  • Damn do I love this man...

  • good old days. this is the real sound we first heard, he had such a good Sence of Humour we could all do with today,,, It was said . that he didn't want to do movies, but 'THE COLONEL' wanted him to . because there were so many R&R groups at that time , but never another Elvis, sorry i was cut off before I finished my comment, ,

  • Actually Elvis wanted to do movies at the beginning, but he wanted to be a serious actor and not do musicals. His early movies were better, but contracts got him stuck in many movies later he didn't like. A few he liked doing such as Viva Las Vegas-mostly because of his love affair with Ann Margret. See Ann Margret talks about Elvis.

  • but the colonel didn't work for Elvis he was a secret agent of Occult America secret government an they assigned him to Elvis! That's why Elvis career was all fucked up n Elvis was tied up n caught up in the mess. He never quite had the ture freedom that is known to todays musicians e.g Michael Jackson had n blew it!

  • Secret agent of occult America...hahahahah...you are a comedian,. almost , if you didn't suck so bad though

  • Comment removed

  • Zecalran, you are looney toons!! Grow up, Buddy!!!

  • this song so takes me back to the G

  • ANYBODY HAVE THE WHOLE CONCERT?

  • You have to remember that He also served in the Army for 2 years 1958-1960, so that would have slowed down his career a bit touring wise,as far as the movies,it actually helped him to be introduced to more people around the world, while I do believe his best movies were his early ones...

  • Man, was he good then! Why, oh why did he have to stop performing and make silly movies?

  • I know, ElvisCline6377, his popularity dropped hugely in the 60's because he wasn't touring. The Colonel messed up on judgement.

  • Not an impersonator but love to sing elvis'check out It's now or never under"dandelvis" on you tube And on the 8th day god created ELVIS

  • The king of music.
