  • nice job!

  • I was wondering what kind of banjo and strings you are using? Because it sounds great! Love this video!

  • LOL! That was awesome!

  • Beethoven of banjo

  • that was bloody spot on, great music, would have loved to have heard more of this one.

  • That song never gets old... =)

  • ROCK ON!

  • Now, that right there was GREAT - even had the capo on the 2nd fret, emulating the original recording! I actually prefer the sound of the slides on the G-string with the capo there, sounds a bit brighter. In any case, that's the best recording of the version right out of Scruggs' "bible" that I've seen online to date. Being a banjo player since the time when the Dead Sea was sick, I humbly offer my opinion on your great picking. Clean!

    Cheers

  • sweet, now I have to learn that too, thanks!

  • hey Sean, can you play this on guitar? also... i was wondering if you could show us Old Joe Clark and some other good oldtime guitar tunes

  • K E Double L O Double Good, Kellogs Best To You

  • having a resource like this is really useful thank you

  • awesome job dude.. dont think scruggs could have done it better himself haha

  • ......WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

    LOL

  • Antony,

Glad to hear you're finding the videos useful. Hopefully you got a copy of the Scruggs book because I'm going to continue pulling material out of it.

"Randy Lynn Rag" is next on my list so I hope you have scruggs tuners on your banjo.

  • Thank you. I've been playing this song the whole day now watching your video, and finaly I can play it. Thanks again! Love your video's.

    Antony
