I got this game for my 12th birthday (back in good old 1995)and I LOVED IT!!!! i got pass all of them except the bald guy:( super hard) i still have the game but the game gear does not work:( what happens in the end if you beat surhand?????
I have the original columns on the game gear, but never seen this one, and im glad to see it uses the original scoring method as apposed to the 4 connected in any shape
@markvergeer Thanks Mark. Yes this is a great game and as you said perfect for a handheld. This is quite a rare game and one of the last games made for the Game Gear. There is also Columns for the game gear, basically the same game but this one as some extras. I used to own Puyo Puyo but as it is a Jap exclusive, I sold it a long time ago. It is a great game though and I will pick it up again some time : )
Ahh... Thank you for this nostalgic video. Super Columns happens to be my favorite puzzle game, with Tetris 2 as a close second.
I love the Mediterranean-style backgrounds. There's just something about it that makes the gameplay experience that much more pleasant.

Ah these same games I liked (like) a lot. Very addictive stuff, perfectly suited for a handheld.
