Cello - Sonata in C Major - Breval

I play the cello for 7 years now and I played this song last year for a entrance exam, my cello teacher is so hard and the rythem at the beginning of the song is very bad, you play very slow and afther you play very fast (this is a very important failure), but the rest of the song is very nice. But the rythem is very important in all the songs, you should pay more attention to these faults.

However, thank you for posting this video. My 8 year old son just started to learn the first movement. He played Romberg's E minor sonata before that. Speaking strictly about the text-- not that interesting piece, I think.

That kid has makes a nice sound on that cello. Tuning is a bit of at times but hey, that doesn't stop it from sounding good. Probably better than how I'm going to play it tomorrow night lol.

I don't think age matters- why does everyone else? Music isn't a contest of who can be the best at the youngest age! I think this is a good performance regardless of age. Can tell he's not extremely experienced, but yes, it's nice playing, and good enough to listen to!

I learned this song when I was 12. I performed it at a concert, and it was easy peasy lemon sleazy. :] Only I played the first and second movements.

dud if u wanna learn breval sonata from somone compitent id suggest the book 4 cd lol

Use Your Finger Nails When Playing Not ur fingers it messes you up later. And Your Bow Should Be Like Below the fingerboard near the bridge so it makes a good sound. Otheres were good
