no from what i remember you can change what kind of skin or painting you want for different planes and you would have to buy fsx acceleration or gold edition to have a f/a-18 hornet(blue angel)

It was a very old bug to do with the F/A-18's fallback texture, that bug has since been resolved.

yes i did make it with fs recorder, but real people flew those positions, we went into a multiplayer session and recorded the session, then played it back so i could capture footage and make it into a video, you can check out our site at fsxblueangels(dot)com

ok, we fly our session in a multiplayer server and record all of us flying at the same time on fs recorder (bceause noone has a free enough hand to redord it whilst we're flying) then after debrief, i go into a free flight session and play the fs recorder file back, and record it with my desired camera angles using FRAPS then put in onto a storyboard etc.

yeah, its takes lots of practice, a lot of time goes into briefs and debriefs, and the flying only takes up 30 minutes-1 hour of our days

Recently getting into IL2 again. Aware one is combat the other is simulation.. one is modern one is WWII.. Both are for the "Hardcore" in the sense of its not like an arcade flight game. How would you rate the two.

thanks man, well, the most popular joystick we use is the X52 and the X52 Pro, we have a Cougar HOTAS user also, but we also have some people who have some cheap joysticks, but it doesnt make them any worse, by any means, you can make the pilot, but you cant make the person i guess...

its flight simulator x, with the acceleration pack installed, it is an extremely hard game to fly formation with, as opposed to say LOMAC, which is like a glorified pacman in terms of flight model
