ok i love clutch but neil looks like he is drunk in this and a bit of his game in th begining but of course fixes it later on :) i love clutch PURE ROCK FURY
No Sevendust or Ladies Night... This was the show that was supposedly promoting the upcoming Elephant Riders b4 they had to re-record it (forced to by Columbia). I was there, and I distinctly remember them playing 24 Earth Years at this show....
@digitaIIive Then I have the shows mixed up, been to so many, but I can goddamn guarantee you they played it in Detroit right before ER came out. The chorus stuck in my head for days after the show, and I was disappointed when it wasn't on the record.
Been my favorite band since 1993. Took a long time to see them live, but I did October of 97 shortyly after this. This video brings back some memories, even though it's not the Grenada in Lawrence, KS.
I don't know how Clutch can write such rockin' music and never fail to look bored as hell on stage (aside from JP who never fails to look like he's having a great time).
It's probably because they've just all smoked a huge blunt before rolling their asses onto the stage... Although that doesn't make their music any less meaningful, it just looks like they're bored.
they aren't bored. every musician has their own traits on stage. some bands just don't move around and look enthusiastic. it doesn't mean they aren't.
this video is sweet!!! memories*
