  • i especially loved the parts where he just told you what happened, like, just the action and let you decide on the emotions and thoughts, and you kinda feel good and devastated at the same time...i'm not sure if i managed to explain it well... but it was brilliant! :D

  • Nice video, you seem pretty pre-fesh (processional) ;)

  • I started reading it today in class and just finished it. I cried sooo much, but it was so beautiful.

  • I got this book the other day but I have to finish a couple others before I start it. Ugghh.

  • Great video! I made a review of my own on my channel, any feedback would be appreciated :) Keep up the good work!

  • You're the second book vlogger I've seen this week raving about this book. I officially need to get it!!

  • @NishaTheBee Yes, you do! :D I'm sure you'll love it to bits. Thanks for subbing, by that way; it's much appreciated.

  • I finished the book in about 2 days. It was beautiful.

  • @TheSecondsMoveOn You really just fly through it, don't you? :)

  • yeah, John is a good person and a good writer ;P

I finished reading this book less than 12 hours because I can't stop reading and of course.... can't stop crying.

I've never been this emotionally involved with the characters in book, but TFiOS is different.

I have so much feelings as I reached the end of the book and I can't describe those feelings

  • @smiichan My thoughts exactly. The feelings you feel throughout the book are so complex, they're unexplainable. Which out of Hazel and Augustus did you like the best?

  • I want to make a review too but I DON'T THINK I CAN.

I want him to write An Imperial Affliction too! Even though we basically know everything that happens, I would love to read it myself. :D

And OH MY GOSH Kaysey's song is so beautiful! I have it on my iPod now <3

  • @padfootandprongs07 It really is too hard to review! :P I think that it's the general consensus with everyone here on youtube, really.

Glad you liked it! I have it as well. I can't stop listening to it!

  • I totally know what you mean about not being about to give a proper review on TFIOS. I felt like I couldn't go beyond much of a general synopsis because it was both so amazing and because anything more would just give it away to people who didn't read the book. Awesome vid!

  • @BookPeek Thanks! I really just want people to go in, knowing very little, and come out amazing and mind-boggled. :D

  • We totally need to be friends

  • @marcguzman07 Haha, okay then. :D

  • Great video, I agree with everything :)

  • @verybooky Glad you liked it. :)

  • Mystery me again! Happy Aus Day! Hmm youll figure out who I am. Smarty pants. :P

  • @96surferchic Fine, I'll see you tomorrow then! :P

  • omg i really want to reak this book...

  • @pauloelpes Buy it now; that's all I can say.

  • Haha, you're the second person today telling me about Australia day. I loved this book. And I love that everyone fails at a traditional book review. It's more about the reactions we have to it, or what's so great about it. I think we should add that to the reasons we love that book. The reactions it provokes! I wish I had a better memory and wouldn't forget all the great things John said in this book too soon. I read it back to back twice now, so amazing! Great video.

  • @1book1review I don't really celetbrate it, seeing as I'm actually an Irish guy living in Australia. (Who impersonates an Aussie accent very well.) I agree! I can't even explain all my reactions, it's crazy!

    Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Let's be honest, we all have a crush on Augustus Waters. *sigh*

I feel bad because i didn't cry but i am going to read it again! I have four copies haha.

  • @TheMortalMuse Haha, yes, but not in that way. XD

You better cry, or else... :P And really? Wow, how did you manage to accumulate so many?

  • @PureDragon100 You get a book for every ticket on the tour de nerdfighting! :D So awesome

  • I really want to read this book. Even more after this video.

I would have to buy the Kindle version, it has not been translated to portuguese yet... And I've never seen an english copy at book shops.

I like sad books haha, probably I'll cry my eyes out. I like books that makes the reader think, so I'll probably enjoy this reading.

I <3 quotes. Really, I put post-its on my books marking the quotes, appereantly I'll fill this book interly.

  • @livrosvagalumes If you like all of those things, then you will relish this book greatly. Maybe if you order online, you could get it in English or Portuguese. Bookdepository ships to lots of countries in the world for free. You could get it there. :)

  • I can't even describe how much I love this book. I promised myself not to cry, but I couldn't stop myself. This book is so gripping and real. It's definately the best book of John Green. The characters were so realistic and amazing. The entire book is just amazing!

  • @bibliophilebeauty It was truly spectacular. I honestly can't stop talking about it! :P I've recommended it to all my friends, so they can have a taste of John's magnificence.

  • First of all, I do nothing on Australia day, too lazy lol. And omg yes! This book is freaking amazing!! I cried so much and it totally just changes you. I agree with everything you said, and this is also the first John Green book I've read and it blew me away. I'm going to shut up now because every time I talk or think about this book I just want to burst out into tears! I'm pretty sure this comment has so many grammatical errors, gah! Go John Green! Wew

  • @SweetBookReviews I don't even celebrate it. Haha. It's all right, I want to talk about this book all the time! :P And great review, by the way. I saw that you really cried during this book. XD

  • I thought Peter Van Houten really helped round this book, his reaction to the situation is a great juxtaposition to Hazel and Augustus. I completely agree with how quotable John is. If you take them on their own you'd never think they were from YA fiction.

  • @OpheliaDagger I agree. Not only was Houten as juxtaposition to Hazel and Gus, but his personality was very ambiguous in terms of which side he stood on. I hope that made sense; it's kind of hard to explain. :P

  • ordered it yesterday :)

  • @candorpluslove Hope you get it soon! You're sure to enjoy it.
