  • i never knew such positive hip hop exists can sound so sik

  • this is just so natural....

what was this like 94? i remember slower times, and it only cost 75 cents to get on the bus, not $2.50...... oh, and this music too....

  • This was the shit! The whole album!!!

  • @pogistarr

    I'll co-sign that 100%!!

Boogiemonsters kept it very "dope cognitive" in their music- maad respect!

    @ shepherdboy777

It sounds like Eminem to me.

    Music > mu-sick

  • @IceManLikeGervin Eminem has some great jams. Check out the tracks '313' or 'Infinite' from his first album

  • @myers1r these guys wouldn't give eminem props!

  • @myers1r , he's sayind "hear me now".

  • Some folks say Hip Hop(movies, tv, sports, music, ect) is just entertainment:

    enter (to enter, come into)

    tain (take hold of, possess)

    ment (a state of)

    - otherwise to come into, possess and to keep in a state of possession. To be a host through the music for fallen angels(stars/idols/icons).

As ODB- b4 he died, said that the Government sold us out with the mind control deal as music & listener slowly become one via one's consciousness.

    Edutainment > entertainment

  • wat re they sayin at the beggining?

  • @myers1r

I can hear something at the 12 second mark that sounds like eminem but I guess you'll have to ask one of the Boogiemonsters to be 100% actual factual.

  • one of the members is now day one of the greatest pastors ive seen, his name is Ivor Myers, find him and learn.

  • @elcheco19 I found him and he taught me more than I ever thought I could............Got rid of Cable Tv!

  • the pope?

  • this is exceptionally different from any other hip-hop song i've ever heard

  • A penis? It's part of the speaker man.

  • Boogiemonsters is an extra dope crew!

They put cognitive messages in their music that forced you to think while you listen to the beats.

  • What is the sample from in the background. Its dope.

  • This makes me soooo sad. I never knew HH would get this low in this era. HH was fun, creative, innovative, musical, ect in these times (1980s and 1990s). The art just seeemed to fade away over time.

I took that era for granted at the time. : (

  • Yeah but you know it does bring back some good memories. I look back at the 90's with fondness simply because I grew up in a time when Hip Hop was creative, innovative, etc. Hip Hop back then, or what I listened to, inspired me to think, learn, and grow. So for that I'm thankful I came up then.

So don't be sad jkbezo, be happy you had the fortune to come up then.

  • True that, I remember those days like yesterday.

We were blessed to grow up in the "Golden Era" of HH. Maybe it will come back next decade. lol

  • @jkbezo the beast infiltrated like they said and put them fake controld fools in like lil wayne n nwa

  • the riders from the storm they dont know the ways !

  • OMG! What a great add!!!!!

  • does anybody know any other rappers that are on this tip put me on

  • Hmmm... tribe called quest?

Of course Digable Planet's first and second album....

No-one was really like them, thats what made them so cool!

  • i suggest the roots "do you want more"... you'l definatly love it.

  • jazz addixx, jurassic 5, strange fruit project, little brother! (ALL VERY NICE)

binary star, blue scholars, (old) black eyed peas, group home(?), anything with DJ premier, 'cept for MOP!

F witch craft. Check out theosophy. You will like it.

  • This was one of my favorite tapes back in the day. The music gives you a feeling you rarely get from hip hop anymore. I always wondered why they never came out with another album.
