Compared to other master grades how durable is it? I mean some guy did a review of RX-78 2.0 and the V fin, hands, and skirt armor kept falling off the model.

Ka is for Katoki, as in Hajime Katoki, a Japanese mecha designer.

could someone explain to me what does version ka actually means? I've seen quite a bit of gundams with this title. Anyways, good review, the only problem I saw was the fact that you gave it 9.5 out of 5 lol. I'm sure it was an honest mistake

nice review. I think you can improve much more by getting some HG and start doing panel lines. it adds so much more details, and maybe a flat coat later on to add little realism.

Far, far, far too much. I got this for 30 dollars, so unless theres something big added, that's too much money.

Thats what I figured that it would be over priced... posibly not that much, but they where selling toys still in stores for a 100% markup.

Is there a Modle similar to this that has a Mobile armor mode (I think thats what it is called) that looks like a tank or something? I know that is pretty vague but I dont remember what all was in the name, they had another one that I think had rx-78 in the name but much bulkier and it transformed.

Yep, thats what it was. It was a Fix Figuration thing a ma jig with the G Fighter.

Trying to learn a little more about them still, have now built a whopping 2 kits.

not really, you can take of some pieces of armor but not all of it. Probably because it's an older model.

i think its because in the show after the MK-II is when they used a plated skeleton instead of having it all mixed together.

Ver. Ka's have so many decals that you'll die from putting em all on, you should put em on since they make ur gundam look so much better, panel lining would be nice.

I only detail what is absolutly needed(the face and some other subtle things)because I like it to be anime accurate, so the less panel lines the better, and thats why I have fallen in love with the new RX-78 2.0.

if you want to put the decals on, use scotch tape to hold them in place then use the butt of an x-acto knife or something to apply them. i saw that idea on a pro modeler tutorial, so it should work.

and the body of course

it's pretty easy, just get some thinner and black, and a brush of course

and dilute the paint

then just go for it

As he said, its the Vr. Ka, so its either a prototype design or a revised design of the gundam.
